  Pros

  Being a gommage type, it's gentle and doesn't irritate the skin at all. The product is clear and transparent without any of the common granules.

  Cons

  The performance is just okay, I guess. But there are many days when the dead skin cells don't come off. No matter how much I rub, nothing happens, so I've had to just rinse it off with water more times than I can count. Such a waste!

  Pros

  It does roll on smoothly without any granules. As for other positives... well, not much to speak of.

  Cons

  When applying, there's this scent - or whatever you'd call it - that doesn't agree with me. It keeps making me cough. I'm only using it because a friend gave it to me as a gift.

  Pros

  It's so smooth to apply since there are no granules. It feels like aloe gel, but while aloe seems to absorb, this feels like it stays on the surface. The ingredients aren't particularly impressive, but it didn't cause any tingling or irritation even when my skin was a bit sensitive. It's my favorite among all the peeling gels I've tried so far.

  Cons

  At first, I didn't know how to use it properly and just rubbed it vigorously, wondering why no dead skin cells were coming off. After looking it up online, I found out that you're supposed to apply it all over your face, wait for it to dry slightly, and then gently massage. I wish these instructions were included on the product itself, which was a bit disappointing.

  Tip

  I mainly use it in the evening. I use it about 1-2 times a week (or 3 times in 2 weeks). After my evening cleanse, I exfoliate with this, then apply a sleeping pack. The next morning, my makeup goes on flawlessly and I wake up with perfect skin.

  Since it's not an abrasive exfoliant that irritates the skin, I found myself doing gentle exfoliation more frequently while using this product

  However, I occasionally notice a small blemish trying to surface

  As long as you focus on gentle exfoliation, hydration, and soothing the skin, it should be fine to use

  Pros

  I started using this product along with my mom since she was already using it, and we got a good deal. Unlike other exfoliators, it doesn't have rough particles or grains, so it doesn't scratch the skin.

  Cons

  Rather than actually removing dead skin cells, it feels like the product just sits on the skin and then pills up after a while when it dries. It seems more like an illusion of exfoliation. What's more upsetting is that it irritates my skin, causing redness.

  Tip

  While I don't think peeling gels are very effective on their own, I've found an off-pack that you apply after skincare, let it dry completely, and then peel off. I believe this type of mask does a better job, fulfilling the role of a peeling gel as well.

  Pros

  This isn't a scrub with harsh granules, so there's absolutely no redness or irritation after use! It's gentle enough on the skin that you can use it frequently without any issues. I also love that there's no strong scent to worry about. Honestly, this is my favorite peeling gel out of all the ones I've tried, and I've repurchased it several times.

  Cons

  Sometimes it doesn't seem to remove as many dead skin cells as I'd like, so occasionally I don't get that satisfying visual effect of seeing the flakes come off.

  Tip

  Make sure both your hands and face are completely dry before applying!
