It's incredibly effective at removing dead skin cells from your face. When I use it in the evening and apply makeup the next day, the adherence is unbelievable! The scent isn't pleasant. I recommend using it for no more than 2 minutes, as prolonged peeling can cause significant irritation to the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedAug 22, 2020
A gentle exfoliating gel without harsh scrub particles. It's non-irritating and leaves skin feeling clean. When you spread and massage the gel, it rolls off along with dead skin cells. If you want more effective exfoliation or a grittier texture, you might need to try a different product. I wanted a cooling sensation and scrubbed vigorously, but it made my skin turn red. - hy*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2019
This product gently exfoliates without irritation. The fragrance is subtle and pleasant, making it quite nice to use. Regarding the ingredients, the renewed version has at least removed parabens, which is an improvement. It seems to work even better when used in the shower or at the public bath. - ge*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2019
After using it, it helped remove dead skin cells and brightened my complexion I had high hopes for removing sebum, whiteheads, and blackheads - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2018
It gives a refreshing sensation, almost like a satisfying feeling of peeling off dead skin cells The adhesion isn't particularly strong, so don't expect dramatic results - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinAug 1, 2017
For my dry skin, it seemed to maintain hydration for a long time, which I found quite nice. After applying, my face would start to feel warm, turn slightly red, and tingle a bit. I thought maybe another product was causing issues, so I tried this one a few times, but each time my face felt tingly and turned slightly red. If you have super sensitive skin like mine due to atopic dermatitis, I strongly recommend patch testing before using it regularly. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 12, 2017
I loved the lightweight feel and it's gentle enough for easy, comfortable use. The alcohol-like scent is off-putting, and it dries too quickly, often making me miss the right moment to rub it in. Also, it's not very effective at removing dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2017
I've tried many exfoliating products, but this one definitely gives you that satisfying peeling sensation while being gentle on the skin! There wasn't anything particularly bad, but if I had to pick something, it might be the scent. However, unless you're extremely sensitive, it should be fine. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 31, 2017
The hydration is nice... but that's about it... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong... Am I using it incorrectly? It doesn't exfoliate my dead skin cells at all. - es********Combination SkinSensitive SkinNov 7, 2016
When I first used it, my skin became incredibly soft. It exfoliated dead skin cells so well, I thought it was amazing! I received it as a gift initially, and then I bought it again with my own money. I was shocked when I checked the ingredients on the Hwahae app... Could it be that it exfoliates so well because of these harsh ingredients? Sigh...
