The formula is more of a thin lotion than a cream. The moisturizing power is somewhat lacking, and it becomes dry after application, peeling off like dead skin. It's just an overall disaster. Personally, I'm disappointed with this product and have no intention of repurchasing. I also had a few breakouts. The phenoxyethanol is ranked quite high on the list, which makes me a bit uneasy. So I might try applying it to my neck instead of my face.

I was curious about the Burt's Bees brand cream and tried it out. The only good thing seems to be that the packaging is a glass container. The lid is made of plastic.

It is lightweight and non-sticky. Generally mild. Some say it is drying, but if you apply a generous amount of water-based essence and then thinly apply this cream, there is not much tightness. In fact, I use this cream by mixing it with Sebum-ton Oil, so I may not be experiencing dryness.

The night cream has a self-tanning ingredient, so it felt a bit unpleasant.
