I was curious about Burt's Bees cream, so I gave it a try. The only positive aspect I can mention is that it comes in a glass container. The lid, however, is plastic. The texture is more of a thin emulsion rather than a cream. Its hydration power is somewhat lacking, and after application, my skin feels dry and the product pills up. It's just a complete mess overall. Personally, I'm disappointed with this product and won't be repurchasing. I even got a few blemishes from it. I'm a bit uneasy about phenoxyethanol being ranked quite high in the ingredient list, so I'm considering using it on my neck instead of my face. - pi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessMar 27, 2019
Lightweight and non-sticky. Generally gentle on the skin. Some say it's drying, but if you apply a generous amount of water-based essence before thinly spreading this cream, you won't feel much tightness. Personally, I mix this cream with sea buckthorn oil when applying, so I might not be experiencing the dryness others mention. It pills. After applying, if you touch your face before it's fully absorbed, it rolls off like dead skin cells, which feels unpleasant. I won't be repurchasing. Try mixing it with facial oil for application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 29, 2017
The scent reminds me of yogurt, and the texture is just as creamy, making my mouth water. It's not too rich, so it seems perfect for spring and summer use. Thanks to the titanium dioxide, it leaves a slight brightening effect when applied. I was a bit uneasy about titanium dioxide being in a night cream, so I've been using it as a day cream instead. For the first few days, I experienced a tingling sensation when applying it, but now I don't feel any irritation at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 2, 2017
Although I wasn't a fan of the scent at first, as I continued using it, my skin became more comfortable and I experienced fewer blemishes. I'm glad I stuck with it! The lightweight texture makes it perfect for summer use. Initially, I didn't care for the fragrance. However, if you keep using it, you'll come to appreciate how good the product actually is. - jw******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 6, 2016
It absorbs well and quickly. This would be great for those with oily skin. It's too thin to be called a cream. The scent is reminiscent of ointment. The lack of an inner seal is also disappointing. My face started to feel a bit itchy after applying it for a while. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 21, 2016
When I suddenly experienced an unexplained breakout of blemishes, I used this for the first time. Thanks to its gentle ingredients, it calmed my skin completely. Since then, I've trusted and used Burt's Bees skincare products with confidence. While it's more affordable to buy through international online shopping services, those who don't like online transactions will have to purchase it in-store. - bl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinMar 10, 2016
It's so light you might question if it's really a cream. The texture is more like... yogurt? And a thin yogurt at that. It separates easily, which makes you wonder why they put it in a cream container. Anyway, it seems gentle and applies nicely like a light emulsion. Can't say it's oil-free, but that's probably due to the formulation. It's not a super hydrating gel either. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I can use it well enough, but it's definitely a product that sits in a rather ambiguous middle ground. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 15, 2015
The texture is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to apply and quick to absorb. As a night cream, it's a bit drying. I find myself layering another cream on top. While it doesn't suit me, it might be great for those with oily skin. - ss******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 15, 2015
It feels rich without being greasy, moisturizing yet with an emulsion-like texture that's refreshing. While it's suitable for sensitive skin, those with acne-prone skin should do a patch test before purchasing. Otherwise, it's a solid choice. It might be too dry for combination or dry skin types. After about three hours, you can feel tightness around the cheeks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2015
It absorbs gently and lightly, allowing for a weightless application. The moment I apply this, my face feels so tingly that I can't use it daily.
