ProsI get anxious if I don't have this at home. I always keep a stash and apply it before going out. The hydration is truly amazing. My super sensitive skin can't do without it.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad to say. I've been using it for 10 years without any blemishes and it works great for me.

ProsThis cream has a rich texture and excellent moisturizing power. My cheeks had become noticeably dry, so I tried it out. After applying a generous amount before bed, I woke up with plump and supple skin!
ConsIt's closer to a heavy cream than a lightweight moisturizer, so I'd recommend using it selectively on dry areas. Definitely recommended for those with dry skin!

ProsGreat for use in almost every season except summer, but it's especially fantastic in winter! I occasionally make natural cosmetics, and while shea butter is great for the skin, it's a tricky ingredient to work with. I'm so happy I discovered this cream!
ConsThe packaging is a bit disappointing, but I understand it's necessary due to the thick consistency. When used alone, it can feel slightly tight on the skin...
TipApplying it together with an essence seems to improve how well it absorbs

ProsWhen applied to face and hands, it improved dryness. It's moisturizing with a rich feel, and the cream adheres well to the skin. It didn't cause any blemishes, making it great for dry skin. I'm satisfied that it's a functional product for brightening and wrinkle improvement.
ConsCompared to other creams, the texture is a bit stiff to apply. The packaging is difficult to recycle, so I wish they would improve the container design.

ProsI bought this when my skin felt extremely tight during winter temperatures below -7°C (19°F).
Sidmool recommended their collagen cream for winter use. (Actually, it was meant as a gift for my mother, but I was curious and bought two - one for each of us!)
I also purchased the Alaska Cushion Cream after seeing good reviews for winter use, so I decided to compare the two.
First, let's talk about the Alaska Cushion Cream. When applied to legs and face:
It's not bad.
It's a product with a bit of a rich feel.
There's a slight sensation of dryness, but not to an uncomfortable degree.
On the legs, it feels a bit richer, which causes some slight tingling, but not as intense as jojoba oil. The tingling subsides after a while - I wouldn't consider it a side effect, just a result of my very dry legs.
The oil and moisture balance isn't a perfect match for my skin, unfortunately.
Since my skin tends to become drier in winter, it might be good to use this product along with some additional hydrating products.
After applying in the morning, by lunchtime there's a bit of oiliness on the skin.
It's not enough oil to need blotting, just a feeling of 'oh, my skin feels moisturized' when you touch it. But if you do blot, oil blotting paper would quickly absorb it, leaving the skin feeling fresh.
It's better not to blot, as the skin feels dry afterwards.
While I don't reach for it much for my face, it's become a go-to cream for my legs.
I've been using it well as my leg moisturizer.
Using it for my legs means the product disappears quickly!
True to its 'cushion' name, it applies with a soft, pillowy texture - like eating a cream-filled pastry or squishing whipped cream between your fingers.
There's a slight stickiness right after application, but if you pat it in, it absorbs quickly and the stickiness reduces.
The stickiness goes from a 10 to about a 7.
The Collagen Cream feels a bit heavier, but my skin felt so comfortable.
Since I was already using the Alaska Cushion Cream for my legs,
I used the Collagen Cream for my face and neck.
After application, my skin feels plump and it seems to help strengthen the skin barrier.
This product feels like it perfectly balances the oil and moisture for my face - I think it would be great to buy every winter.
It worked well in temperatures below -7°C (19°F).
At temperatures below -10°C (14°F), I felt a bit of dryness, but it was still manageable.
In those cases, it might be good to add some extra hydrating products to your routine.
When using the Alaska Cushion Cream and Collagen Cream,
here are the products I layered with them.
I applied them in order from what I considered lightest to heaviest.
Combination 1: Allantoin Ampoule, Dr. Troub For Gly Skin Water Plus Essence, Panthenol Ampoule, Snail Brightening Liposome Essence
Or
Combination 2: Ectoin Cica Essence, Ectoin 10% Derma Ampoule, Dr. Troub For Gly Skin Water Plus Essence
I used Combination 1 mostly when temperatures were below -10°C (14°F), and surprisingly, my skin felt less tight when I included the Snail Brightening Liposome Essence.
On days when I skipped the snail essence, my skin felt drier.
When using the Alaska Cushion Cream, oil seemed to surface a bit faster.
I used Combination 2 when temperatures had improved to between 0°C and -7°C (32°F to 19°F).
During this time, these products alone were sufficient.
Combinations 1 and 2 were my morning routines.
In the evening, I added a hydrating gel for extra moisture.
ConsWhile the oil and moisture balance wasn't ideal for my face, making it more suitable for my legs than my face, it wasn't bad for body use. However, I probably won't repurchase it. I think I'll try some other creams instead.

ProsOh my goodness, if you have extremely dry skin, just use this! Seriously, just use it! It's absolutely fantastic. Apply one layer of a hydrating product, let it absorb, and then just this cream alone for moisturization? Why was that ever a challenge?
ConsIt's so thick that it's difficult to apply... I'm honestly considering trying to pat it on like a cushion foundation.

Great value (2 for 12,900 won)
Leaves a subtle glow
Not sticky at all
Almost fragrance-free
Interesting texture
ConsDefinitely not suitable for winter hydration
Doesn't address deep dryness
Slightly small amount
TipThis cream is perfect for those with good skin who need a lightweight, non-irritating moisturizer that won't feel heavy on the skin

ProsMix it with oil or ceramide and you'll easily survive the dead of winter. It significantly improves skin texture.
ConsThe rich texture can make your skin feel a bit uncomfortable if you only cleanse with water in the morning.
TipTry blending it with a ceramide solution during the coldest winter months.

ProsIt has a rich yet refreshing texture. Although it seems thick, it absorbs well when applied to the face and has a pleasant, skin-hugging feel.
ConsThe spatula that doesn't fit in the container seems unnecessary.

ProsThis cream is more suitable for dry skin than oily skin. When applied to dry hands, it goes on thick and feels moisturizing. The texture has a cozy feel, and it seems you need to apply it carefully for the best results.
ConsIt feels a bit too heavy for oily skin that's experiencing dryness. The thick consistency makes it somewhat unpleasant to apply.
