Applies smoothly and the brown color isn't overwhelming. I'm not sure about now, but 3-4 years ago, I used it once and got allergic conjunctivitis. I bought it because it was popular, but I don't know if it was just me - I really suffered for months from using this one product, and my eyesight even deteriorated. I wish I had kept the medical certificate to attach here. I posted a review on The Face Shop website back then, but there was no response! Seeing that the packaging has changed, it seems to have been renewed, but don't carelessly use eyeliner just because it's cheap. If it doesn't suit you, it can be devastating. Since then, I've been extremely careful with eyeliners and absolutely never buy them from The Face Shop. Those with super sensitive skin, please take note. As someone with hooded eyelids, I often struggled with smudging when applying eyeliner. However, this liner barely smudged at all! The pencil seems to break easily when sharpening due to its soft texture. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 10, 2017
The color payoff is beautiful and it doesn't smudge as much as other gel liners, even after wearing it for a long time. It's truly frustrating to sharpen this pencil. It's so soft that it crumbles and breaks, and I'm constantly sharpening it until I give up and throw it away. I thought it might be the sharpener, so I bought several new ones, but the problem persists. The color is pretty, and unlike black eyeliner, it looks natural, so I've been using this one for years! It has a lot of powder fallout and gets in my eyes :( After 5-6 hours, it also leaves imprints. It applies smoothly........? The price is affordable. It's actually harder to pinpoint the good points; Truly the epitome of smudging... Since I'm so immune to being upset, I'm literally laughing my ass off ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The eyeliner stains remain on my under-eye like decals ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I really couldn't use it at all, so I had to throw it away ㅠㅠㅠ Plus, sharpening it is awfully difficult....😢 The tip is to not buy it...?

It doesn't spread well, but it wipes off nicely with a remover. It has a subtle pearlescent finish, so the color is pretty and good for everyday use. I have to sharpen it with a pencil sharpener, which is a hassle. It wears down quickly, so I have to sharpen it often. The eyeliner core is a bit soft.
