Also, I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp, and when I added a drop of this to my shampoo, it kept my scalp feeling fresh until the next day.
ConsIt doesn't seem to be effective on smaller sebaceous filaments.
TipWhen using as a spot treatment, applying more doesn't necessarily make it work better. I recommend using just a tiny dab precisely where needed.

I'm not quite sure how to describe it. Maybe it's just a refreshing feeling?
ConsI bought this thinking it would be fine since I've used tea tree masks often. When I mixed a drop with my moisturizer and applied it, my skin turned red, so I stopped using it. Later, I tried adding a drop when washing my face, but it made my blemishes worse. I guess it's not compatible with my skin.

When a big blemish appears on my face, I apply this to a cotton pad with some toner and a drop of tea tree oil, then gently wipe or place it on the affected area. It feels soothing, and often by the next day, the inflammation has calmed down. The scent is like a natural freshness - it gives me an invigorating feeling.
ConsFor some reason, a sticky residue forms on the cap after using it for a while. I thought it was just me when I was using it in the dorm, but when I came home, I noticed the same thing happening to my sister's bottle. I'm not sure if it's a sibling problem or an issue with the container... Either way, it's bothersome.
TipOne drop is enough. Using too much can be as irritating as setting your skin on fire. If I discover the secret behind the cap issue, I'll update this review with more information.

After cleansing, I add a few drops to a basin of water and rinse again, which feels refreshing. The quantity is really generous... I've used it frequently, but there's still about half left.
ConsIt's disappointing that while it's quite strong, it doesn't seem to be as effective as I'd hoped. Controlling the amount is tricky - ideally, you want just one drop, but sometimes two or three come out at once because it clumps at the opening. I feel like it might actually be making my blemishes worse, so I've been using it less lately. It's frustrating... Maybe I'm not using it correctly, or it just doesn't suit my skin. Now I only use a drop or two for my final cleanse, and even then, maybe once a month at most... I'll probably end up throwing away most of the oil without using it.

It has such a refreshing feel.
ConsI'm still using it, so I'm not sure if it's just me, but tea tree products don't seem to work for me. The tea tree scent is also quite strong. The biggest drawback is that I'm afraid to apply it for fear of irritation. If you apply too much, it can cause a tingling sensation. Since it's 100% pure, you should expect this to some extent when purchasing!
TipAbsolutely do not use it like a facial oil - you might end up with irritation and costly dermatologist visits. If The Body Shop's tea tree oil works well for you, definitely give this a try!

At first, I wasn't keen on the distinctive tea tree scent, but it's grown on me and now feels refreshing. I've used up one bottle in a month and I'm off to repurchase!
ConsWhen I mix it with my emulsion, there's a slight burning and tingling sensation. It gets better once your skin adapts though.

Can also be used with aromatic oils. The scent of a cool forest
ConsEye irritation. The area where it was applied seems to be getting dry. The effect may vary from person to person, but I didn't see any benefits.
TipThis is a volatile oil. Use it locally.
