The product label clearly states it's for 'VERY DRY SKIN' - it's absolutely perfect for extremely dry skin types! I've been using this product for over a decade now. I discovered it by chance, and when I first started using it, they didn't even offer the smaller 30ml size. It's quite pricey at regular stores, so I stock up during duty-free promotions. I can't remember the exact details, but the more you bought, the bigger the discount. I even purchased 5 hand creams - probably paid around $8 each, compared to $20 in regular stores (not sure about current prices, that was the last time I bought it at a regular store. Now I only buy it duty-free or on sale abroad). The best thing about this hand cream is that it's the only one I use. Other hand creams leave my skin feeling tight after a while, but not this one. That's why I only apply this cream. An employee told me it contains oil, which makes it more moisturizing than other products. The label mentions Hemp seed oil. I've tried hand creams from all over the world for my dry hands, but this one feels the best. That's why I always keep a stock! In my opinion, it's a million times better than Loccitane. It's extremely expensive when purchased from regular stores. Also, the 100ml size is a bit much for year-round hand use, except during summer. I wish they would change the packaging. The sides always burst, so I have to keep it in a small ziplock bag. It becomes really inconvenient when you've used more than half. As for the scent... it's not particularly fragrant. It's definitely not a pleasant smell. Some people find it okay, others wonder what kind of scent it is. But I don't care about the fragrance as long as it keeps my hands from feeling tight. Apply it to very dry areas like elbows, legs, etc. when your skin is slightly damp. The texture isn't very smooth, so it's hard to apply on dry skin. It's especially good for chapped areas exposed to cold winds in winter. When my skin is really dry, I add a drop of oil to the cream - this keeps it moisturized all day long! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMay 5, 2018
It leaves your hands incredibly soft - I highly recommend it! The fragrance is delightful, and the texture absorbs well without any sticky feeling. Perfect for daily use in your hand care routine. Honestly, I can't find any faults with this product. If I had to mention one drawback, it might be the price point. But considering its effectiveness, it's still worth it. For best results, apply generously after washing your hands to lock in moisture and keep your skin feeling hydrated throughout the day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2018
This product seems to be popular among people with skin blemishes like eczema. My hand eczema, which didn't improve even with steroid creams, got much better after using this. I live abroad, and it's quite well-known here for people with hand eczema. The scent is typical for this type of product, so I can't really call it a drawback. However, the packaging doesn't seem very practical. Recently, the container tore and some of the cream leaked out. For those with skin issues on their hands, applying this before bed seems to have a significant effect. You should definitely give it a try! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 1, 2018
I liked it! The scent was nice, though it was a bit sticky. But the fragrance reminded me of baby powder. It's so sticky! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 8, 2018
The hydration is excellent, leaving my skin feeling moisturized. While some might not like the herbal scent, I personally found it appealing. The fragrance didn't go over well with people around me. I'm hesitant to recommend it because of that. Pro tip: When someone asks to borrow your hand cream, make sure they smell it first! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJan 6, 2018
My hands get so dry that I apply hand cream without fail every time they touch water. If I don't, my hands hurt from dryness. But this one is truly the ultimate champion of hydration. Compared to this, L'Occitane's Shea Butter feels light. The scent is a bit unique, like grass maybe? Anyway, it's not exactly fragrant, so some people might not like it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2017
The price is reasonable, the quantity is generous, and the fragrance seems pleasant. It's sticky and not great. I would recommend a hand cream from another company. The outer packaging was also bent and damaged, which was unpleasant. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 28, 2017
The moisturizing power is the strongest!! It was the first time I felt like my nails were being cared for. It was definitely the best hand cream I've ever used in terms of moisturizing power. The scent was a bit disappointing though. Some of my other friends also tried it and said the scent was really bad. While the moisturizing power is the best, the scent is one of the worst among the products I've used before. Since it cares for your nails, apply it to your nails as well. And the large size has much better cost-effectiveness. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 21, 2017
It's really great!! It's non-sticky, absorbs well, and is moisturizing. And the scent is luxurious! It's not like a cheap fruity scent, but a nice one. It's thick, so you only need to use a little bit and it's enough. The lid..haha It opened a few times in my bag..hahaha Make sure to close the lid tightly!!! - gk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSep 14, 2017
The Body Shop hand cream seems to have the best moisturizing power among their products. When your skin is dry, this could be a good alternative to L'Occitane. The scent may be divisive, but I personally found it fine. However, if you apply too much on your palms, it can feel quite greasy. It seems the larger size is no longer available, which is unfortunate.
