The dry patches on my skin have disappeared! This product really seems to work wonders. After using it for a few months, my skin completely broke out and it's no joke. I'm currently visiting the dermatologist regularly for prescribed medication. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2021
It's great for simple, affordable hydration - definitely a bang for your buck! The finish feels a bit stiff when it dries. After a few minutes, it's almost like wearing a dried-out mask. I apply a soothing gel first, then pat this on generously. - ma**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2021
My skin tends to be quite dry, but this provided good hydration and made my skin feel softer. Surprisingly, it significantly reduced my blemishes. When I stopped using it for a few days, I had a major breakout, but once I started applying it again, the blemishes disappeared. The scent is a bit strong, and the ingredients aren't particularly great. I occasionally experienced a tingling sensation on my skin. It feels nice and smooth when applied to the lips. - ka*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJan 6, 2021
I really appreciated how well it absorbs and its subtle, not overpowering fragrance. Applying it to my dry skin in the depths of winter eliminated any dryness, which I found very satisfying. When I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, I was surprised to find that it contains quite a few components that require caution. It seems like it would feel wonderfully hydrating when applied to your hands. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 10, 2020
It felt moisturizing and nice. I think the best thing is that it doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin. However, it might be a bit rich for oily skin types. When I wake up in the morning, it feels a bit greasy. It's good for dry skin though. - lo********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 8, 2020
I first tried this when living abroad and was pleasantly surprised by the affordable price. I initially hesitated, thinking it was just a hand cream, but upon using it, I found it to be wonderfully hydrating and gentle. It didn't cause any blemishes or small bumps, and it seems to absorb well into the skin. After returning to Korea, I spotted the same product at Daiso and bought it again. The scent and quality were identical! At Daiso, it only costs 3,000 won. I used to be a 'moisturizer nomad', never settling on one product, but now after cleansing and toning, this is the first thing I apply. Even with my sensitive combination skin, I didn't experience any deep dryness. I've always used jar-type moisturizers before, but this tube packaging is so much more hygienic and prevents dust from getting in. I wish they offered a larger size option. Also, it might be a bit too light to use alone during the harsh winter months. Those with extremely dry skin might find it not quite moisturizing enough. The key is not to slather it on thickly from the start. Instead, apply a thin layer first, then add a little more if needed for better absorption. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2020
It's affordable and easy to apply without any burden. The scent is really pleasant and it leaves the skin feeling soft and powdery. After checking the Hwahae app, I'm wondering if I shouldn't use this... sigh. - ju******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 6, 2020
It absorbs well, doesn't feel greasy, and applies smoothly. Even though I have combination skin, I don't mind mineral oil, so maybe that's why, but whether it's the formulation or not, I didn't feel like this product was oily at all. I don't usually write reviews, but this one fits my skin so perfectly at such a great price that I couldn't help but leave one. It provides just the right amount of hydration without being sticky. It's a very versatile moisturizer. Above all, the price is incredibly good value - I'm amazed at the quality you get for this price. The ingredients aren't the best, to be honest. I'm not particularly allergic, so it's fine for me, but it does contain quite a few potential allergens, which is a drawback. Especially the fragrances and perfuming agents... If only these were removed, it would be such a great cream. I'm not too picky about cosmetic ingredients and I'm using it well, but this product has too many fragrances and perfuming agents... Since fragrance is really not a good ingredient, it would be so much better without it. I'd be so grateful if they made an unscented version, but since that powdery scent is Nivea's signature, they probably won't remove it... Still, I'm hoping for a fragrance-free version. I really wish they'd release a version without fragrances and perfuming agents. Also, it might not provide enough hydration for those with dry skin. I have combination skin leaning towards oily, so I'm using it without issues. Make sure to check the ingredients as there might be something that doesn't suit you. It's suitable for use all year round, but if you feel it's slightly lacking in hydration during winter, try mixing in a little jojoba oil (I'm currently using hoya oil, which I find to be the most versatile of all the oils I've tried). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2020
Due to contact dermatitis, I couldn't use just any skin emulsion, so I mainly used Cetaphil. However, Cetaphil made my face feel too slippery. I happened to try this one, and it suits my skin perfectly. The ingredients aren't as good as I thought... I'm considering going back to my original product. - gk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 13, 2020
I used this when the weather was a bit chilly, and I felt my skin becoming softer and healthier! If you have a lot of heat in your face or oily skin, it might be best to avoid this product!
