  Great for restoring skin that's struggling with oil-moisture balance due to sweat and sebum, and overwhelmed by external stressors. The balm-like texture melts on contact, enveloping your entire face in a cozy embrace. Apply a thick layer, wait 15 minutes, then rinse for instantly clearer skin! Use before makeup for all-day comfort, but for best results, apply generously before bed.

  Cons

  The scent is a bit too strong. It has an artificial fragrance that's slightly off-putting.

  Pros

  The signature Chanel fragrance is absolutely divine. It's wonderfully hydrating. When I slather this on generously before bed, I wake up with a radiant glow. My makeup also applies beautifully over it.

  Cons

  For the price, it's a rather unremarkable moisturizer. The strong scent can be off-putting at times.

  Tip

  It works great as a hydrating mask, especially during those extremely dry winter months.

  Pros

  I've been using this entire line, and it feels refreshingly light. It doesn't make my face overly greasy or shiny, and I love how hydrating it is. So far, it's good enough that I'm considering repurchasing.

  Cons

  The fragrance is quite strong. I'm not a fan of Chanel's signature floral scent to begin with, but I think it could be more subtle. I wish they'd reduce the use of these less-than-pleasant fragrances.

  Pros

  It's wonderfully hydrating. As expected from a moisturizer, you can really feel the intense hydration. Despite its potent ingredients, I didn't experience any allergic reactions like itching or blemishes.

  Cons

  The absorption is average. It doesn't absorb particularly well and tends to sit on the skin a bit. The fragrance is overpowering.
