This sunscreen resolved all the issues I previously struggled with, like eye irritation, allergic reactions, stinging, and skin dryness. It's also easy to wash off! While it solved the dryness problem, it's a bit too greasy. It even makes my hair look oily and clumpy, haha! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 30, 2020
I've been using this alone for 5 years since I have dry skin and don't wear makeup. I'm satisfied with it... though I'm not sure how strong the UV protection is. I saw an ad claiming you only need to apply it once a day. But it seems like you need to reapply after 4 hours. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2020
As someone who's always at the dermatologist's office, I've been using this for years now! When it was first recommended to me, I was skeptical because it didn't immediately brighten my skin. But now I realize that's actually a good thing! My skin usually gets blemishes and becomes irritated with most cosmetics, but the most important thing is that this doesn't cause any blemishes, which is amazing! The longer I use it, the more I love that there's no white cast, just this wonderfully rich feeling! It keeps my skin feeling hydrated! I also love that I can comfortably apply it to both my face and body. While sunscreens can often seem similar, I'm so glad this one doesn't irritate my skin. I highly recommend this to those with super sensitive skin... It washes off easily with water. Even a single face wash removes it completely. You need to reapply frequently. Make sure to reapply often... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 20, 2019
As someone with sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I absolutely loved this product. It applies smoothly and offers excellent UV protection. It's also easy to remove with cleansing. My previous sunscreen caused a lot of blemishes, which I didn't realize at the time and kept using. But since switching to this product, I haven't had any breakouts, and my skin has become much clearer. I can't think of anything negative to say. I was satisfied with every aspect of this product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 23, 2019
The high SPF is impressive! It applies transparently with minimal white cast. Probably won't cause dryness even in the dead of winter. It feels incredibly heavy, like I'm spreading silicone all over my face. I don't focus much on sun protection, so I use only a small amount, but it's still extremely sticky and feels unpleasant. There's no way I could use this in summer! While I don't have any specific tips, I've noticed the stickiness seems to decrease slightly after it's been on for a while. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2019
The sun protection is excellent. I chose this product specifically for its superior UV defense. Normally, even with good sun care, acne scars fade from red to a faint brown. But with this sunscreen, the redness subsides and my skin quickly returns to its natural state. It made me realize how effective the protection truly is. As someone with acne-prone skin who frequently uses Differin gel, I feel more at ease using a sunscreen with high UV protection. Despite being a chemical sunscreen, it doesn't cause any stinging or irritation on my skin. I have oily skin and would prefer a physical sunscreen, but those can be too matte and drying. Considering the white cast and nanoparticle concerns with physical sunscreens, and how my skin tends to burn even with reapplication, I've opted for this chemical sunscreen. It feels comfortable on my skin. Right after application, my face looks quite shiny for a while due to the oiliness, but this seems unavoidable given the sunscreen's filter properties. Like physical sunscreens, the formulation of chemical sunscreens is crucial. I've heard that a stable formulation is important to prevent rapid breakdown of UV-blocking ingredients when exposed to sunlight. The only real drawback is the oiliness. Due to its high oil content and slow absorption, this sunscreen doesn't work well with liquid foundations. On days when I use this sunscreen, I skip my morning skincare routine as this product is quite heavy. Instead, I apply the sunscreen and then use a mineral powder foundation, like Everyday Minerals or bareMinerals. This combination works well. Gently pat and blend to maximize absorption, which helps prevent emphasizing dead skin cells. This technique also helps control the sunscreen's oiliness, leaving your complexion with a nice glow. I often return to this sunscreen after laser treatments or when my acne flares up and I'm prescribed topical medications like Differin. In these situations, I keep my base makeup simple, using products with minimal ingredients just for evening out my skin tone. If you find your skin sensitive due to various treatments, you might want to try this sunscreen after patch testing. Even for oily skin types, when your skin is in a delicate state, matte products can be uncomfortable and painful. That's when this product really shines. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 21, 2019
I've been using Cetaphil emulsion for a while now. I bought it because everyone says it's their holy grail product. Should my 7-year-old have used the kids' version instead? Little bumps have appeared all over, and it's making them very itchy. - cr********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 11, 2019
I love how quickly it absorbs due to its water-like texture. It doesn't make my skin look pale or ashy. Unfortunately, this product doesn't agree with my skin. After applying, I experience intense itching. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDec 12, 2018
It absorbs well and doesn't leave a white cast, making it perfect for applying before heading to school. It's too greasy. There's so much oil that when I apply it, my face looks excessively shiny. Even if my skin is very dry, using this makes my dry skin look like it's oily. Even if I carefully control the amount, my face still ends up looking overly shiny. - hi****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityNov 22, 2018
As someone with dry, sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I use sunscreen 365 days a year. This one seems to work well for me as a summer sunscreen. The texture is quite fluid, making it easy to spread. Interestingly, it starts to feel a bit tacky midway through application. (Pro tip: Instead of dotting it all over your face at once, apply it section by section.) Once fully applied, it feels slightly thick but adheres well to the skin. There's a bit of richness to it (yet it still feels somewhat tacky; quite unique!). It seems to provide good sun protection. The scent isn't great. Also, in winter, if you apply makeup directly over this without a base, it can look dry and heavy due to its thickness. This might be related to how it becomes tacky during application. Unfortunately, this issue prevents me from giving it a higher rating. Another downside is that because of its fluid texture, if you store it upright as packaged and open the cap, the product spills out. I'd like to store it upside down, but it doesn't stand that way... making storage a bit inconvenient.
