The adhesion is good, but that's the only positive thing about this sunscreen. Using this alone causes a breakout of blemishes. It's difficult to use during the pandemic. It's so sticky that it makes your mask cling to your face. I can't understand how dermatologists supposedly use this... - ka*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2022
It blends seamlessly with my skin, making pores less noticeable. The application is smooth, and with this alone, I can confidently go out without additional makeup. Like most products, it does transfer onto masks, but that's hardly a drawback. The only real issue is that by evening, my eyes feel incredibly irritated. Unfortunately, this problem led me to discontinue use and become a skincare nomad. Apply it by gently dotting all over your face, then pat it in. This method ensures even application without any clumping. - jj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 8, 2022
I bought the SPF 90 because I didn't want the hassle of reapplying. It evens out my skin tone nicely, almost like I'm wearing makeup. It's so popular for a reason - I love that it doesn't pill and doesn't irritate my eyes! It is a bit rich, so I usually follow up with makeup (using matte products) or set it with powder. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 10, 2021
Highly recommended for dry skin! I heard this is the sunscreen used for burn patients at dermatology clinics. The ingredients are... well, you know. It has a water-like texture that glides on smoothly, with a subtle skin-perfecting effect (like a very sheer BB cream with light coverage). While it's often cheaper to buy directly from overseas, I purchased it in Korea for a bit more. (I'm not sure if it's been reformulated to SPF 50 or what's changed. Next time, I'll have to compare with an overseas purchase.) You can wear this alone without additional makeup - it gives your skin a beautiful glow. I reapply it constantly during workouts! Among tone-correcting sunscreens, Heliocare products are my absolute favorite. In the second color comparison photo, the left is the 90 cream, and the right is the Mineral Tolerance Fluid (You're supposed to shake it before use, but I forgot while comparing... oops!) Not recommended for oily skin! (It might make you look extra greasy) It's great for reapplication throughout the day - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 30, 2021
First off, it's great that it evens skin tone. I've been using it for two years now, and personally, it seems to work well even for my combination skin. It tends to make my skin quite oily, and occasionally when I wear it for a long time, I get a pimple or two. It seems to be good for applying lightly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2021
I'm not a fan of dry sunscreens, but I like how this one adheres to the skin due to its rich texture. It feels a bit heavy because of the oil content. The color is a bit dark for my skin, so I mix it with other products. After checking the app, I noticed some ingredients that aren't great, so I'm debating whether to continue using it. The color is quite dark. It's quite rich, so it might not be suitable for oily skin types. I found it works well when I mix it with lighter-colored sun protection products. - je*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 24, 2021
The sunscreen protection is high and it absorbs well. I'm not sure about other benefits yet, unfortunately. It's excessively oily and the smell is... ugh. When I put on a mask after applying it, a sharp odor rises up, making my eyes sting a bit. I checked the ingredients on Hwahae and bought it for sun protection after laser treatment for blemishes, but I'm getting a bunch of pimples on my nose. I suspect it might be because of this product... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2020
I love how gentle this product is on my skin. Even with multiple applications, it doesn't cause any blemishes or breakouts. After a short while, it leaves a slightly oily feeling on the skin. If you have combination skin that leans more towards oily, I'd recommend getting the gel formula instead of the cream version. - ke*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessMar 23, 2020
Smooth application. Natural-looking skin. Well-balanced oil and moisture levels. A subtle beige brightening effect that's not overwhelming. Blemishes... a barrage of inflamed acne... It kept appearing for a while, so I switched to Innisfree Blueberry and it calmed down. Turns out the ingredients were a bit... The acne was really deep under the skin, making it hard to extract. I had to use a needle to pierce and squeeze it out. Those with super sensitive skin should avoid this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedFeb 8, 2020
Listen up everyone, this is my holy grail sunscreen! Unheard of SPF 90/PA+++ protection! To put it simply, the SPF number indicates how well it blocks UVB rays. The higher the number, the better the protection. PA shows how effectively it blocks UVA rays, with more + signs meaning stronger protection. For my extremely dry skin, this sunscreen is a game-changer. I'm not sure which ingredient it is, but I have a sunscreen allergy. So I couldn't use just anything, and I'd always break out in rashes. But after receiving this as a gift, I tried it bit by bit on my arms and legs. It was fine, so I started using it regularly. +Color Unlike other sunscreens, this one has a tint. It's foundation-colored. Naturally, since it's not white, there's no white cast. +Coverage Why does a sunscreen have such good coverage? That's why on most days, if I don't have any important appointments, this is all I need. It rivals the coverage of many base makeup products. +Texture It's incredibly fluid. About as thin as most skin toners or emulsions. At first, I was worried it might not apply well because it's so runny, but that wasn't an issue at all. +Scent This has a slight fragrance. Maybe because of the color, but it smells a bit like chocolate and also has an oil scent. It's definitely not an overwhelming smell. It's familiar, but I can't quite place it! But there's definitely a scent to it. -Oily Skin If you have oily skin, don't buy this. Absolutely don't. It's super oily. My sister, whom I often compare myself to in reviews, has oily skin. She says it's too oily and doesn't suit her. This seems like a sunscreen specifically for dry skin. -Hair Because it's oily, your hair tends to stick to it a lot. So, as someone with bangs, I always have to set it with powder. -Texture The downside of it being so fluid is that it runs when you try to apply it on the back of your hand. So you have to apply it directly to your face. Even then, it might drip and stain your clothes if you're not careful. -Glowy Skin You might wonder why this is a con, but it's a matter of personal preference. I prefer a matte finish! Using this product means you're headed for forced glowy skin territory. -Price It's expensive... Even on sale, it's pricey! Highly recommended for dry skin! If you have dry skin, you must buy this. Buy it twice!
