I'm going to compare this to Luna's Vita Water Fixer or whatever it is. Because I've used the Luna Fixer 3 times already... I've never used any other fixer before. The Luna Fixer has an oil layer and when you shake and spray it, it has a lemon scent. I also use it as a mist substitute. The longevity is medium-high, but to be honest, I really don't know. Aritaum doesn't have any scent like that, you just spray it on. But personally, I want to side with Aritaum. Because it's cheaper, so I can spray more of it. However, since I have combination skin in the summer, I use setting powder more often than spraying this. The portability of both is terrible... Ugh... You need a really big bag to carry them around. The type where the water and oil layers separate is not great for carrying in a small travel-sized bottle. When I spray the fixer directly on my face, it feels like the powder melts away. So I spray it on a sponge (always hydrate before makeup) then apply foundation > press it in > set with powder. Anyway... There's definitely a difference when I use it versus when I don't. I don't think I'm using the fixer to prevent darkening... Just to keep my makeup from breaking down as much, you know? To keep my blush from flying away and stuff like that? In the first place, I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types. Since it's an oil-based type, it will make you look greasy. It's meaningless for oily skin anyway! Because you just have to keep blotting and doing touch-ups all the time!! You don't even need to buy it! I apply it with a sponge or puff. It feels like my makeup melts when I spray it directly. Since the portability is low, just use it at home. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2015
The spray power is good and the scent is nice, so I like it. It can be used as a mist substitute and I really like it. There was a slight increase in blemishes in the beginning, but there were no other disappointing aspects. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2015
Some of them look a bit glassy and seem to have a coating effect. I was satisfied using this as a substitute for mist. When sprayed on oily skin and then applying powder, the skin becomes soft and smooth. The scent is just like regular cosmetics. The spray force seems too weak. I'm not sure if it really helps fix the makeup. I just use it as a substitute for mist... When kept in a bag, the cap comes off easily. Spray once on the left and once on the right (definitely not for a big face though). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 26, 2014
Like any other mist, it is moisturizing. The fragrance is that of a cosmetic product. Since it is not a facial mist, it may cause water droplets on the face. I'm not sure about the setting function... it's just the same. I usually spray it before makeup and in the summer, I spray it after makeup to set it.
