My life's savior☆ As someone who dislikes fussing with makeup, a setting spray is essential for me... I bought it after seeing good reviews and at an affordable price, but even though it doesn't do much for my skin's appearance, just spraying this on at the end makes my makeup look so smooth and flawless. It gives a nice, subtle glow. The setting function is decent, but I use it more for making my makeup look better rather than for its setting power. Among all the cosmetics I've bought, aside from my skincare, this is one of the few I've repurchased. Aritaum usually has 20% sales, so I recommend buying it then. I heard it was recently reformulated, but from the reviews, it seems the packaging is the only thing that changed, and the formula is the same. But the spray is just very average...not a fine mist or anything, it just feels like getting splashed with water. Just a very plain, normal spray...but I'm still satisfied. I'm not sure if the spray was improved in the reformulation. And as I said, it's not a perfect setting spray. It doesn't mattify and lock in the makeup, and depending on the temperature and environment, it can still get shiny or smudge around the eyes. But it definitely makes my makeup look better and last a bit longer than without it. And at the price, I'd recommend giving it a try. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 1, 2015
Applying just one foundation makes my skin feel dry and thick, but when I use this, it gives me a dewy, glowing complexion. It makes my skin look so smooth and moisturized, I love it! As someone with dry skin, I really enjoy the dewy look, but my oily-skinned friend found that it started to get shiny after a while. You shouldn't spray the setting spray and then pat it in, just leave it be. The setting spray will absorb into the skin and make your makeup look seamlessly blended. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 1, 2015
It lasts longer than not using it, and it provides the right amount of glow on the skin. After using it, the makeup seems to lift a bit, and the longevity is not very long-lasting. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2015
It has a nice glowy effect, and the packaging even says it has a moisturizing and radiant effect, haha. Zero fixing effect... I didn't see any effect at all. I bought it because people said it was good, but I guess it just doesn't work for me. I ended up selling it to a friend. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 21, 2015
Some of them look a bit glassy and seem to have a coating effect. I was satisfied using this as a substitute for mist. When sprayed on oily skin and then applying powder, the skin becomes soft and smooth. The scent is just like regular cosmetics. The spray force seems too weak. I'm not sure if it really helps fix the makeup. I just use it as a substitute for mist... When kept in a bag, the cap comes off easily. Spray once on the left and once on the right (definitely not for a big face though). - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2014
Makeup tends to slide off or disappear, but if you spray it before and after applying makeup, it works really well. Spraying it after makeup makes your skin look dewy and healthy-looking, and I've even heard people say it makes my skin look great. The key is getting the right amount. If you use too little, it's unclear, but if you use too much, the makeup ends up sliding off. Ah, this is one of my tips - spray it for 30 seconds, let it set for 30 seconds, do your makeup, then spray it again for 30 seconds.
