I started using this by chance when my sister bought it for me, and it suited me so well that I'm now on my umpteenth bottle. It really gives a feeling of deep hydration from within. While it fills up the skin from the inside, for some reason the surface of my skin feels slightly dry, so I need to apply a moisturizer quickly afterwards. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 12, 2019
I've used over five bottles of this. For a gentle and moisturizing toner, it has excellent hydration. Its thick, mucus-like texture is great. I usually just use this as my exfoliating toner, but when I pat it on a couple more times, I get that coveted chok chok glow you see in K-beauty. I'm not sure if the chok chok glow on the surface actually addresses deep dryness or if it's just surface-level stickiness. I use it as a toner mainly because of its good hydration. It tends to sit on top of the skin if applied only with hands. If you apply it with your palms from the start, it doesn't absorb well. Use half a cotton pad and press it into your skin for better absorption. After that, you can use your hands and it will absorb well. Additionally, if you pat it in sufficiently with your hands, you'll achieve that coveted chok chok glow seen in K-beauty. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 6, 2019
It seems to have long-lasting effects! It was great to use at night. I often used it when I needed quick hydration. If you pat it into your face with your palms to help it absorb, you can feel your skin becoming plump and bouncy, just like in the ads! It feels a bit heavy for summer use. As someone who usually uses watery toners that absorb quickly, this texture was new to me. It's watery but slightly thicker. I was confused whether it was bouncy or sticky, but it wasn't an unpleasant stickiness. It doesn't absorb quickly when applied, and I felt like I had to pat it in several times for it to sink in. If you use too much, it feels like it doesn't absorb and just sits on the skin. If you apply makeup right after, it tends to pill. You really need to keep patting it in for a while to get that plump skin feeling, as rubbing takes too long to absorb. I like to use a small amount, rub it quickly between my palms to warm it up, and then apply it in several layers. Works great for me! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2018
It's so plump and bouncy! The texture is truly like a runny nose (...)—it feels like applying the essence from a deeply hydrating sheet mask. Just as advertised, when you press your palm against your skin after application, it feels like your skin is being lifted. It leaves a sticky residue on the skin. It's as if it doesn't fully absorb? It feels like there's a film coating the surface of my skin. I avoid using it in summer when I sweat a lot and my body temperature rises easily. The barrier created by this product is so thick that it seems to prevent sweat from fully evaporating. It also feels like it traps heat. I rarely apply it in the morning when I'm doing my makeup, and only use it at night. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 7, 2018
I've been using this emulsion for years, and it's my absolute favorite. When I layer it or use it as a mask, I feel my skin getting deeply hydrated. Since the product was reformulated, it seems the absorption has decreased a bit. It feels like it's sitting on top of my skin rather than sinking in... In the morning, I soak a sheet mask in this product and leave it on for about 10 minutes. It makes my makeup go on so smoothly afterwards! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2018
I bought this because everyone said it's a must-buy in Japan, and I found the hydration to be really good. The toner felt like it was forming a film on my skin, so it didn't absorb well for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 27, 2018
It feels instantly plump and well-hydrated as soon as you apply it 1. It caused blemishes 2. Even after letting it absorb fully, my makeup didn't just pill - it was impossible to apply. Trying to pat on cosmetics forcefully only made them ball up and fall off like jelly. It's hard to describe in words how bad it was. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinMar 7, 2018
The absorption is slightly tacky (like the stage before a runny essence) but it absorbs well, meeting my expectations. It seems decent enough just for its moisturizing power alone. When my skin condition isn't great, it occasionally feels like it's just sitting on top of the skin (this may vary person to person). While it does feel moisturizing, it doesn't seem to layer hydration into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 16, 2017
It seems like it could be helpful if you are not very thorough. The main advantage would be being able to purchase it at a lower price online. I have the oily acne-prone skin type. I was aware that it would be sticky, but since they said it was good for moisture, I used it for a few months. However, it was really not good at all. Because of this, I didn't even use the aloe gel or ampoules, but it didn't absorb well and just remained sticky on the surface. It also didn't seem to provide enough moisture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 4, 2017
I started getting acne since high school, and my face was red with blemishes until before I went to the military. During my military service, my sister gave me Hada Labo skin care products as a gift, and I used them. I didn't feel an immediate improvement, but after being discharged, my acne completely cleared up. My face used to be constantly oily and shiny, but thanks to the products, my skin has improved a lot. Even just applying toner makes my skin feel very moisturized. But it's only the surface that feels hydrated, while the inside feels dry. By the way, I'm not sure if I have oily or dry skin... Is this a case of dehydrated skin? It seems like the skin improves with consistent use
