Why I bought it: 1. Recently, I noticed I was losing more hair than usual, so I was looking for a good treatment product. I heard great things about Cheongmijung and decided to buy it. 2. I purchased it because it's free from harmful ingredients and gentle on the scalp. 3. Unlike my previous treatment that could only be applied to hair, this seaweed treatment can be used on the scalp too, which was a big selling point. Usage period: I've been using it twice a week at night for about 3 weeks. Hair type: 1. Fine, long hair 2. My hair doesn't get greasy or tangled 3. I used to have thick hair, but lately I've been losing a lot when washing or brushing 4. I have sensitive skin How to use: 1. Brush your hair to detangle 2. Thoroughly wet your hair with warm water to remove initial impurities 3. Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo and wash your hair 4. Rinse several times with warm water to remove shampoo and impurities 5. After removing excess water, apply the seaweed treatment to your hair and/or entire scalp 6. Don't rinse immediately. Put on a hair cap, wait about 5 minutes, then wash it out thoroughly Product features: 1. It has an ivory-colored texture 2. The scent is typical for treatment products, though I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. It's neither particularly pleasant nor unpleasant 3. After washing and drying your hair, the scent isn't very noticeable 4. It contains about 91% seaweed extract 5. It includes 25 naturally-derived ingredients Pros: 1. Probably due to the absence of harmful ingredients, it didn't cause any blemishes on my scalp or skin 2. Previously, I used to lose a lot of hair in clumps when rinsing, but with this product, I lose less 3. Compared to using shampoo alone, it makes my hair softer and smoother 4. My hair feels moisturized, not dry 5. It's great that this product can be applied to both the hair and scalp, as both need care 1. At first, I struggled for about 10 minutes trying to open the lid. I only discovered the instructions for opening it a few days later, but it's still less convenient compared to other products. 2. It's slightly more expensive than other products of the same volume. It would be nice if they had more sales or promotions. 1. If you can't open the lid, check the website for instructions on how to open it 2. After applying the treatment, using a hair dryer for 2-3 minutes to supply heat helps the hair absorb it better 3. It seems suitable for sensitive skin and scalps Conclusion: After using it for about 3 weeks, I'm satisfied. The best part is that I was worried about losing a lot of hair, but now I lose less when washing and brushing. Since it's free from harmful ingredients, I can use it with peace of mind as it doesn't cause any blemishes on my scalp or hair. I want to continue using it to achieve healthy and soft hair. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 23, 2020
My dry, brittle hair has become softer, and I'm really satisfied with the results. While the price is a bit steep and can be a burden, I'm still using it with satisfaction. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMay 1, 2020
The texture isn't as thick as other treatments. It feels like it might flow a bit when you pour it into your hand. I love that the scent isn't artificial or overpowering. The 500ml bottle isn't as much as you'd think, and the price isn't exactly budget-friendly. It feels a bit wasteful to use generously. I originally used it twice a week, but after switching to almost daily use, I noticed a significant improvement in my hair texture. It seems to work best when you leave it on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing, allowing time for other tasks while it absorbs well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2020
I wonder why everyone's reviews are so positive? I personally don't get it... Though I must say, the ingredients are good. It's way too expensive. Considering the price, it's not effective at all... So disappointing. People say it's smooth, but I have to squeeze it multiple times. Compared to other products, it's not particularly smooth. I'm not sure... Nothing specific to add. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2020
*Review after using multiple bottles for over 5 months* I have a slightly oily scalp that starts to get greasy in the afternoon if I wash my hair in the evening but not during the day. My scalp is also sensitive, so I bought this after watching Director Pi's video, and I'm still using it. Positives: 1. No blemishes even when it got on my scalp. 2. No oiliness on the scalp from the treatment. 3. At first, it felt a bit stiff, but with continued use, I could feel my damaged hair improving. Areas for improvement: 1. The price isn't particularly budget-friendly. 2. It would be nice if it came in a larger size as well. If you want to use it easily, applying it like a conditioner daily should be sufficient to see results. If you have more time, leaving it on for about 10 minutes before rinsing seems to improve damaged hair more quickly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 26, 2020
As someone with an oily scalp, my hair usually gets greasy by evening even after washing it in the morning. But since switching to this treatment, it's noticeably less oily. What I love most is how it makes my hair silky smooth without feeling greasy. It has this unique seaweed scent that's actually quite pleasant - like a sweet seaweed soup aroma. So far, I'm using it without any drawbacks. Apart from the slightly higher price point, I can't find any downsides to this product. If you're not in a rush in the morning, it's great to use as a hair mask by leaving it on for about 10 minutes after application. While using a steam towel would be ideal for maximum nourishment, even a 10-minute hair mask shows noticeable effects. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2020
The scent is surprisingly pleasant. I didn't expect much since it's made from seaweed, but the fragrance is actually quite nice. The texture is also fairly smooth and absorbs well. (I have an oily scalp with dry, fine hair) The main reason I can't recommend this is that I'm not sure about its effectiveness as a treatment. Plus, it's way too expensive. If it's pricey, it should deliver results, but this doesn't seem to. It might be okay for those with naturally good hair who don't need specialized shampoos for scalp or hair loss issues. While it applies smoothly, it doesn't leave my hair feeling particularly soft afterward. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 27, 2020
I love how it can be used on the scalp and gives a nice, smoothing effect on the hair. While the ingredients are said to be good, it's a bit pricey and the results aren't dramatically noticeable, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserOily SkinFeb 13, 2020
Since this product directly touches your hair, I learned it's crucial to find a treatment without silicone, which led me to discover this one. Here are its advantages: 1. This product is silicone-free. 2. It's a seaweed treatment made with only natural ingredients. 3. A YouTuber recommended it for severely damaged hair. 4. It's suitable for all hair types. The downsides of this product are: 1. The price is a bit steep. At around $30 for 500ml, it can be a bit of a burden. 2. The scent is divisive. Many say it smells like the ocean, which some people dislike. Personally, I found it refreshing. 3. There's no dramatic, instant improvement. It seems like you need to use it consistently for a few months to see results. However, given its price, that can be a bit challenging. If you're financially comfortable, I'd recommend this product. Otherwise, you might want to consider alternatives. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJan 27, 2020
My hair has started to shed less and gain a bit of shine The price is way too high and it never goes on sale. Even though I'm using it alone, it runs out quickly with just two pumps each time
