Why I bought it: 1. Recently, I noticed I was losing more hair than usual, so I was looking for a good treatment product. I heard great things about Cheongmijung and decided to buy it. 2. I purchased it because it's free from harmful ingredients and gentle on the scalp. 3. Unlike my previous treatment that could only be applied to hair, this seaweed treatment can be used on the scalp too, which was a big selling point. Usage period: I've been using it twice a week at night for about 3 weeks. Hair type: 1. Fine, long hair 2. My hair doesn't get greasy or tangled 3. I used to have thick hair, but lately I've been losing a lot when washing or brushing 4. I have sensitive skin How to use: 1. Brush your hair to detangle 2. Thoroughly wet your hair with warm water to remove initial impurities 3. Apply an appropriate amount of shampoo and wash your hair 4. Rinse several times with warm water to remove shampoo and impurities 5. After removing excess water, apply the seaweed treatment to your hair and/or entire scalp 6. Don't rinse immediately. Put on a hair cap, wait about 5 minutes, then wash it out thoroughly Product features: 1. It has an ivory-colored texture 2. The scent is typical for treatment products, though I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. It's neither particularly pleasant nor unpleasant 3. After washing and drying your hair, the scent isn't very noticeable 4. It contains about 91% seaweed extract 5. It includes 25 naturally-derived ingredients Pros: 1. Probably due to the absence of harmful ingredients, it didn't cause any blemishes on my scalp or skin 2. Previously, I used to lose a lot of hair in clumps when rinsing, but with this product, I lose less 3. Compared to using shampoo alone, it makes my hair softer and smoother 4. My hair feels moisturized, not dry 5. It's great that this product can be applied to both the hair and scalp, as both need care 1. At first, I struggled for about 10 minutes trying to open the lid. I only discovered the instructions for opening it a few days later, but it's still less convenient compared to other products. 2. It's slightly more expensive than other products of the same volume. It would be nice if they had more sales or promotions. 1. If you can't open the lid, check the website for instructions on how to open it 2. After applying the treatment, using a hair dryer for 2-3 minutes to supply heat helps the hair absorb it better 3. It seems suitable for sensitive skin and scalps Conclusion: After using it for about 3 weeks, I'm satisfied. The best part is that I was worried about losing a lot of hair, but now I lose less when washing and brushing. Since it's free from harmful ingredients, I can use it with peace of mind as it doesn't cause any blemishes on my scalp or hair. I want to continue using it to achieve healthy and soft hair. - je******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 29, 2020
Wow, what's this product with such great ingredients?! I bought it based on Director Pi's recommendation. Everyone says it smells like the ocean, but to me, it's more like the scent of Effclar. It's exactly that smell you get after spraying Effclar! But it's not bad at all. It's a familiar scent, and those who aren't sensitive to fragrances should be able to use it without much thought! The texture is like a runny gel cream. It absorbs smoothly into the skin. It's only been two days, but I rushed here to write a review because I couldn't wait! What is this product? It's absolutely amazing! I've always thought my scalp was dry, with just a bit of oil coming out at night. But recently, my scalp has been feeling hot and sweaty, so even though this is for oily hair, I decided to try the Cheong Mi Jeong Treatment. I'm so satisfied!!! I usually use Dr. For Hair Phytotherapy Treatment daily, but the Cheong Mi Jeong Treatment feels much softer. I'm really happy with it! There aren't any major downsides yet, but... I'll need to use it longer to see if it improves the damaged ends of my hair. If I had to pick something, I guess the price is a bit high. But since the ingredients are clean and it seems effective, I'm satisfied and will continue using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 23, 2020
My dry, brittle hair has become softer, and I'm really satisfied with the results. While the price is a bit steep and can be a burden, I'm still using it with satisfaction. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2020
I bought this after seeing positive reviews on YouTube. It seems to work well for my oily scalp. My hair feels soft after washing too. So far, I don't have many complaints. I think I need to use it more to fully evaluate. - tw********Dry SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2020
Since there are no problematic ingredients left on the scalp or hair, it's stress-free when rinsing out. While it's not a major drawback, it feels quite rich, so those with oily hair might find it a bit too heavy. When I'm really in a hurry and short on time, I sometimes use just a tiny amount on my hair ends, applying it like a hair emulsion. - mh********Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 23, 2020
As someone with oily skin that became very sensitive during winter, with an itchy scalp and red spots, I decided to try the Cheongmijung Seaweed Shampoo and Treatment after watching DirectorPi's video. Here's what I loved: 1. The scent is refreshing without any fishy seaweed smell - a pleasant surprise! 2. The consistency is just right - not too thick or thin. It adheres well to the hair without dripping. 3. The gentle formula soothed my itchy scalp without causing irritation. When I briefly switched to another treatment product, my sensitivity flared up, but it calmed down once I returned to this one. 4. While not a product feature, the official store's customer service is excellent. They quickly and kindly addressed an issue with a faulty pump on a new bottle. 1. I wish they'd have sales more often! With my long hair, I go through it quickly, and the price is a bit steep. 2. It seems I'm not the only one who's had issues with the pump. We need a more durable dispenser! 3. While it's gentle on the scalp, I don't notice a dramatic improvement in my hair texture with daily use, which is a bit disappointing. Initially, I used it daily, but since it didn't significantly improve my hair texture, I now use it with an electric hair cap. Unlike some treatments that don't work well with heat, this product noticeably absorbs better when used with the electric cap, enhancing its effectiveness! - na*******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 1, 2020
The texture isn't as thick as other treatments. It feels like it might flow a bit when you pour it into your hand. I love that the scent isn't artificial or overpowering. The 500ml bottle isn't as much as you'd think, and the price isn't exactly budget-friendly. It feels a bit wasteful to use generously. I originally used it twice a week, but after switching to almost daily use, I noticed a significant improvement in my hair texture. It seems to work best when you leave it on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing, allowing time for other tasks while it absorbs well. - fb******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 10, 2020
I wonder why everyone's reviews are so positive? I personally don't get it... Though I must say, the ingredients are good. It's way too expensive. Considering the price, it's not effective at all... So disappointing. People say it's smooth, but I have to squeeze it multiple times. Compared to other products, it's not particularly smooth. I'm not sure... Nothing specific to add. - tn*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 31, 2020
*Review after using multiple bottles for over 5 months* I have a slightly oily scalp that starts to get greasy in the afternoon if I wash my hair in the evening but not during the day. My scalp is also sensitive, so I bought this after watching Director Pi's video, and I'm still using it. Positives: 1. No blemishes even when it got on my scalp. 2. No oiliness on the scalp from the treatment. 3. At first, it felt a bit stiff, but with continued use, I could feel my damaged hair improving. Areas for improvement: 1. The price isn't particularly budget-friendly. 2. It would be nice if it came in a larger size as well. If you want to use it easily, applying it like a conditioner daily should be sufficient to see results. If you have more time, leaving it on for about 10 minutes before rinsing seems to improve damaged hair more quickly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2020
As someone with an oily scalp, my hair usually gets greasy by evening even after washing it in the morning. But since switching to this treatment, it's noticeably less oily. What I love most is how it makes my hair silky smooth without feeling greasy. It has this unique seaweed scent that's actually quite pleasant - like a sweet seaweed soup aroma. So far, I'm using it without any drawbacks. Apart from the slightly higher price point, I can't find any downsides to this product. If you're not in a rush in the morning, it's great to use as a hair mask by leaving it on for about 10 minutes after application. While using a steam towel would be ideal for maximum nourishment, even a 10-minute hair mask shows noticeable effects.
