Compared to other eyeliners, this one has gentler ingredients. The color payoff is great. It's an excellent product for tightlining. I bought it because it claimed not to smudge, but it smudges on me. Maybe it's because I have hidden double eyelids. Even after applying eyeshadow and powder before the liner, I end up with panda eyes after a few hours. Perhaps my eyes are too oily. The pencil sharpener attached to the back is troublesome - if you're not careful, it can break the liner, and the product gets stuck in it. At first, it goes on smoothly with intense color payoff. After a short while, it sets to a comfortable finish. It tends to clump a bit, so apply with a light hand when using it on the under-eye area. The black has a purple undertone, which would likely suit cool complexions well.

I always felt so disappointed when liquid eyeliners would smear, but I'm so glad I discovered this product. These days, I only use this one! Thank you, Bbia! There's nothing to complain about! The color payoff is incredible and it has amazing staying power. It truly doesn't smudge at all. The shades are beautiful, and as someone with monolids, this was my first eyeliner that could effectively fill in my waterline. The eyeliner sets and becomes quite stiff. When I filled in my waterline, I felt a scratchy, stinging sensation every time I blinked, as if it was scraping my eyeball. The staying power is absolutely top-notch. I have fleshy eyelids with hidden double eyelids and downturned eyes, which usually makes eye makeup smudge easily. However, this product doesn't budge at all unless I wash my face or use makeup remover. It has a slight blue or purple undertone, which I think would suit cool complexions really well. As it's so smudge-proof, it can be challenging to remove, so a makeup remover is essential. I bought this BBIA eyeliner because it's known for good reviews and it's affordable. I must say, it doesn't smudge or fade easily. It has decent staying power, and if you want to create a bold line, it's okay! 1. The pencil itself is quite thick, making it impossible to draw a clean, precise line. Especially difficult to create a fine tail like you can with a brush-tip liner. 2. Being a gel type, when you sharpen it, the gel sticks to the sharpener. 3. I regret choosing the shimmer version. Since I've already bought it, I'm using it, but when I need to draw a fine tail, I use a brush or a pointed cotton swab to refine the line. - vl****Dry SkinSep 25, 2016

The biggest advantage is that it doesn't smudge. The color is pretty decent too. It's too hard and stiff, making it difficult to apply around the eyes to the point of discomfort. There's also a burning sensation when removing it with makeup remover.

Even after some time, it still applies with good color payoff, allowing for longer use compared to other products. While the social price is affordable, I've had to throw away many that dried up too fast. However, the 'Noir P' shade continues to perform well without drying out. Bbia eyeliners already dry quickly on the eyes, turning powdery when removing at home. With added shimmer, it feels like it should be even more thoroughly removed. You need to work hard with makeup remover and oil to ensure the black powder doesn't get into your eyes. It doesn't smudge much even when applied lightly on the lower lash line, giving a sultry look.
