1. The shimmer isn't overpowering, allowing for a natural highlight effect. 2. It comes with a built-in sharpener, making it convenient to sharpen when it gets messy. 3. The price is budget-friendly. 1. The staying power is disappointing. Even with a fixer spray, it always fades away after a few hours. 2. Like other BBIA gel eyeliner products, it doesn't last long. It tends to dry out before you can use it all up. It complemented pink-toned makeup looks particularly well. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinDec 28, 2018
Bbia products are sold at great prices in offline stores. I bought this for a bargain. I purchased it for my aegyo sal (under-eye puff), and Angel looked the most natural in person. The shimmer is ethereal and long-lasting. The downside is that you need to sharpen it to a point. It's blunt, making it difficult to draw precise lines. Apply it carefully. Make sure to close the cap tightly as it dries quickly. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAug 14, 2018
It's fantastic for creating a natural aegyo sal look. The color is a subtle blend of pink and white, and the pigmentation is absolutely beautiful. When you sweat or it's hot and your skin gets oily, it can look a bit messy. Also, no matter how tightly you close the cap, it tends to dry out, making application difficult in some areas. It's a bit hard to remove, but I'm on my umpteenth tube because the color is truly as gorgeous as it gets. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 7, 2018
The swatch at the bottom is a single stroke, while the top one is layered multiple times. Since it's been used for a while, it's slightly hardened, resulting in a less smooth application. The base color is a slightly pink-tinted ivory, but due to the white pearl, it appears more white when applied. When swatched on the back of my hand, I thought the white tone might be too strong and float on the skin, but it actually looks quite natural. Even those without aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness) can create a natural, voluminous look. It applies smoothly and the color payoff is good. The staying power is excellent, and it doesn't easily rub off even with vigorous rubbing. So, unless you intentionally touch it, it easily lasts over 12 hours. Being waterproof, it doesn't come off easily when wet. The auto-type pencil format makes it convenient to use on the aegyo-sal area, which is probably its biggest advantage. Since it's a white pearl with a cool undertone, it doesn't pair well with warm-toned makeup. After a long time, it may slightly crease along eye wrinkles. Also, as the pencil starts to harden, the color application becomes a bit patchy, so it's best to use it as quickly as possible after opening. As it's water-resistant, it won't come off with just cleansing water. It's better to remove it with a lip and eye remover or an oil-based cleansing product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 30, 2018
I'm on my 5th tube of this product! It's both a pro and a con, which I'll explain in detail in the drawbacks section. When it comes to aegyo sal makeup, I believe the key is having just the right amount of shimmer for a natural look. I've tried many products, but this one stands out with its pink champagne color, finely milled pearls, and long-lasting formula. The shimmer isn't robotic or overly glittery, making it incredibly natural-looking. You can layer it multiple times without it becoming overwhelming! I often use it alone, but when I want a more intense look, I'll top it with a pearl pigment - it's absolutely stunning! It works beautifully both on its own and in combination with other products. Despite being on my 5th tube, there's one major drawback - this product tends to solidify quickly. Even with the cap tightly closed, it becomes stiff over time. It starts out smooth and easy to apply, but after about a month, it hardens and becomes difficult to use. That's why I keep repurchasing it every time it gets too hard to apply - hence the 5 tubes! Of course, I continue to buy it because the product quality is excellent, and I haven't found anything better that meets my needs. The price isn't too high, which makes it satisfying to repurchase. This product paired with Holika Holika Stella Dust is an absolute dream team! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2018
The color is nice. It's a subtle pink, and even with lots of shimmer, it looks natural. When applied to the aegyo sal (under-eye area), it's delicate. It's really pretty. As soon as I bought it, the tip fell off when I opened the cap. It breaks way too easily. Compared to other BBIA eyeliners, the Angel shade doesn't apply as smoothly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 22, 2017
The pearl particles are not too large and the formula is soft, so when applied to the apples of the cheeks, it sparkles naturally and looks pretty. The pencil-type format is good for using as a highlighter on small areas like the cupid's bow and the tip of the nose, and the natural pink color doesn't stand out too much from the skin tone. It's so pretty, but the longevity... it wears off quickly. It seems to be especially weak against oil. In the afternoon when oil starts coming through, it all wears off so quickly 😢 and just leaves a messy trace of pearl under the eyes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 9, 2017
I always love drawing aegyo sal, so I've tried using eyeshadows, stick-type products, and highlighters from Innisfree, Etude House, and Missha, as well as liquid formulas and the stick-type aegyo sal makers from Canmake. But I think the Piai Angel is the best. Liquid products tend to be too obvious, so I use stick-type products, and the Angel has the best application. It's smooth and doesn't hurt when drawing. It seems to dry up quickly! Even if I close the cap properly, it dries up fast. So when it gets a bit stiff when drawing the eyes, I have to buy a new one. I recommend this product for those who like a natural makeup look! If you want a more glamorous, sparkling look, I suggest the Etude House Play Pencil. - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 11, 2017
Lightly dab and spread the highlighter on your cheekbones and T-zone to create a natural, radiant glow and enhance the contours of your nose and forehead! It also gives you a lovely, rosy complexion! It has a soft, velvety pen-like feel. Applies beautifully! It's smooth, but since it's winter, repeatedly applying in the same area can feel a bit uncomfortable. When you first peel it off and start using it, it's super soft and velvety!! Use it on the areas of your face that you'd like to appear a bit higher. Every time your nose looks more defined, it's so satisfying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 27, 2016
I personally love it! Not only is it adorable, but it also works great as a highlighter - it has a lovely subtle glow. And even though it's a pencil, it's so smooth and creamy. I highly recommend it! If I had to nitpick, the longevity could be better for this eyeliner. But even so, I would definitely repurchase it.
