It has a viscous brown texture with a subtle floral scent - the fragrance is lovely. Being an oil foam, I thought the lather would be weak, but it's actually rich and abundant. I have atopic, very dry skin, and since it's an oil foam, my skin feels quite moisturized even after cleansing. As for cleansing effectiveness, I'm not sure about makeup removal, but it does a great job of removing sunscreen. I didn't find any downsides, so I repurchased it. I was actually surprised to see its rating in the 3-point range, given its ingredients. - db********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 26, 2023
A high-viscosity gel cleanser with a yellow tint. It's said to be an oil-to-foam formula, but it feels more like a regular gel cleanser. Initially, it has a slightly thick gel texture, but as you massage it, it transforms into a slippery, foamy consistency. It seems to effectively remove eyebrow makeup. The cleansing effectiveness is quite good. After washing, your skin feels hydrated and moisturized. There are a few ingredients in this product that should be avoided. When rinsing, it leaves a slippery feeling on the skin, making a double cleanse necessary to remove any residue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2022
This is my go-to product. I think its biggest strength is that I can't really find any flaws with it. It cleanses well without feeling like it strips my skin, doesn't cause any tightness, and even with long-term use, I haven't experienced any skin issues. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I use it with complete satisfaction. - ks*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 20, 2021
True to its name as an oil foam, I really enjoyed the gentle feel on my skin. After cleansing, I loved how my face felt equally smooth and soft - it was the perfect balance! Unfortunately, the cleansing effectiveness didn't quite match up to its gentle texture. I couldn't expect it to provide a deep cleanse... - lu*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedNov 1, 2020
I borrowed this from a friend and loved it so much I had to buy my own! It's so hydrating and easy to use. I didn't find any downsides. While individual experiences may vary, I was extremely satisfied. However, it might be a bit rich for those with oily skin. - qh*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2020
Thanks to a friend, I tried this by chance, and the bumpy texture on my butterfly zone is gradually becoming smoother! After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel too dry, and there's no slippery residue left on the skin either! It doesn't remove eye makeup very well... And it's a bit of a hassle having to use it with dry hands after washing them, but that's about the only inconvenience. If you just follow the instructions as written, it really works wonders! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 26, 2020
It removes makeup really well! I didn't experience any blemishes either, which is great! It might be too powerful? It feels like it strips everything away completely - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2020
When it comes to removing makeup, oil cleansers are always the first step, right? I've been using them consistently, and compared to other oil cleansers, this one lathers up nicely. The 'Royal Caviar' name makes it feel luxurious, which is a nice bonus. Its cleansing effectiveness is really impressive! Like most oil cleansers, this one comes in a pump bottle. The issue is that if any cleanser gets around the opening, it hardens. So the next time you use it, you end up cleansing with these hardened bits. It's not ideal... but to be fair, this seems to be a common problem with all oil cleansers. Using it with the included brush makes the cleansing even more effective. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2020
As it's an oil foam, it doesn't lather up too much. The application feels really comfortable. It smooths out the skin, calming any rough or bumpy texture. Why is it so expensive? Apart from the price, there's not much to criticize. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedAug 24, 2019
My girlfriend always gifts me this because she says it's convenient, and I've been using it for over a year now. It's so handy that I don't need to wash my face twice with other cleansers. Using this twice does the trick perfectly. It also lathers up well, making me feel like it's cleaning thoroughly. After washing, my skin feels dry. While this seems to be the case with all foam cleansers, I find myself reaching for my toner immediately after rinsing. I keep my toner in the bathroom so I can apply it right away.
