The next morning, the inflammation is noticeably reduced! It's excellent for calming the skin.
ConsYou need to use quite a bit on the cotton swab, otherwise it's hard to tell if you've applied anything. However, using your fingers can be too harsh and might make things worse. It's challenging to control the amount you use.

It's amazing! I can divide my skin journey into before and after discovering this product - it's been that transformative. I've gone through about 10 bottles. There's a noticeable reduction in my acne compared to before. Since finding this product, I've been able to forget my past struggles with widespread facial acne. I hope they never discontinue it. (Update) It helps reduce some blemishes.
ConsAs a spot treatment for localized areas, it can be quite potent. Overuse may lead to redness (those with very sensitive skin should definitely patch test). While not unpleasant, it has a strong distinctive scent. Some people might find it quite drying. I regret posting this review so late. (Update) It caused skin redness. It was too irritating for me, so I eventually stopped using it. The drawbacks outweigh the benefits, so I no longer use this product.
TipBe sure to apply it using a cotton swab. It's crucial to control the amount - don't overdo it. Using it twice a day, before bed and after waking up, is enough to see results. Look out for sales to purchase it at a lower price. Please note that it has a very strong tea tree scent (though it fades over time).

I think this is the best acne product I've ever used...
ConsIt stings quite a bit, probably because of the tea tree, but I'm satisfied since it works so well
TipI learned this from other reviews too - it works great when mixed with a soothing gel!

Then, after a perfect storm of swimming, protein bars, and my period, my face went haywire with severe inflammation. Someone mentioned tea tree was good, so I gave it a try and it was a game-changer. I highly recommend this for those dealing with inflammatory or pustular blemishes.
ConsIf you have super sensitive skin, be careful! It might sting more than you expect!
TipFor just a spot or two, I'd use a cotton swab. But when folliculitis or inflammation spread across my face, I'd soak a cotton pad with a gentle toner (I use Cynic Simple Toner) and spritz this Aromatica Tea Tree Oil on it generously. Then I'd gently exfoliate with a toner. This really helped calm things down. It leaves your face feeling warm, so I'd follow up with a soothing, hydrating serum and pat on 99% aloe vera gel. This helps reduce the burning sensation, keeps oil production in check, and works wonders!

You can really feel the presence of tea tree oil.
ConsThere's some irritation, and the calming effect isn't as amazing as I expected...

ConsAfter applying this, my blemishes turned completely red and grew larger. The Body Shop's product didn't do this, but this one is too harsh and causes severe irritation. It only made my skin worse. It's truly terrible.
TipI strongly advise against using this product.

While different types of blemishes may respond differently, for my aging skin that's prone to sudden, itchy, deep-seated bumps that can't be squeezed or don't come to a head, this product works wonders. When applied, it significantly reduces swelling and calms the skin by the next day. It's truly outstanding.
ConsThe air-infused dropper bottle can be tricky to dispense from. Also, it tends to be a bit irritating. I unknowingly applied it near my delicate eye area once and it stung quite badly. It's best to avoid using it around the eyes.
TipFor better application, tilt the bottle and wait for the liquid to come out. It's more effective to let it drop onto your hand and then dab it on with your finger. Using a cotton swab doesn't give the same satisfying application feel.

ConsWhile there's nothing particularly disappointing about it, it does have a somewhat strong scent.

ConsI used it consistently for about two weeks, but somehow it seemed to irritate my skin more. I think you need to use a very small amount
TipA tiny amount! If you press the cotton swab deep into the bottle, it comes out well

I bought it on sale because tea tree oil is known to be good for acne. I've been eyeing the Sidmool tea tree oil for a while, so I never expected my first tea tree oil purchase (looking closer, it's more tea tree leaf extract!) would be from Aromatica. I found it difficult to apply with a cotton swab, so I put a drop on my finger and applied it that way. If it felt insufficient, I'd apply a bit more after a while. When I apply it in the evening and wake up the next day, while it's not 100% effective, I can see a noticeable reduction in many of my blemishes!
ConsThe tea tree leaf extract, ethanol, and tea tree oil can be irritating, so I'm not sure if that's why they deliberately made the bottle opening narrow. You have to tap the bottom of the bottle at least 3 times to get the product out. (I can't tap too hard for fear of too much coming out!) I wonder if there's a specific reason why it's not a dropper, which would seem more convenient. Although it's the third ingredient, it contains ethanol. It's common knowledge that ethanol can be irritating to the skin and should be avoided if possible, but it's also true that it has antibacterial properties... (That's why you often see alcohol, especially ethanol, in acne-specific skincare products!) I was concerned that it wasn't a higher-grade alcohol, but what worried me more was the 'Polysorbate 80' ingredient. When I researched it, it didn't seem to be the safest ingredient. I'm sure there's a reason it's included, but I would have felt more at ease using this product if this ingredient was omitted. Because of these two ingredients, I wanted to give it 4 stars, but the effectiveness for its intended purpose was good, so I'm giving it 5 stars. (To be precise, it's more like 4.3-4.5 stars.) The fact that it's not 100% tea tree oil (though it does contain some) might have its pros and cons... I think I'll try a 100% tea tree oil product next time and then decide whether to come back to this one or not (since it is effective).
TipBecause it can be drying, apply it only to areas with blemishes, and don't use too much~
