The product that the drug store employee recommended to me for my sensitive skin turned out to be amazing! It's incredibly moisturizing, and even though I usually get bumps from using slightly harsher lotions, the bumps disappeared after just one day of using this product! I also use mineral sunscreen these days, and my skin used to get really dry in the afternoons, but that's no longer an issue since I started using this lotion - my skin always has a nice, dewy glow now. If you're looking for a gentle, nourishing, and moisturizing lotion, I highly recommend this one!

I only kept using it because the product itself works well, but if the smell wasn't so unbearable, I would have thrown it out after the first use. The Avène Mist can be sprayed over makeup without drying out the skin, so it was useful when going out. I also occasionally applied the Cicapair to the reddened, irritated skin after popping pimples, and found it helped soothe the skin. Normally, as long as I manage the dryness well, my skin appears smooth and glowy, so I usually just need to apply foundation over the Trick Star Balm to achieve a radiant complexion without needing a separate strobing cream.

But thinking the balm might be too heavy for the changing seasons, I instead bought a cream that was relatively closer to a lotion formula. Even after applying the cream, my face has a radiant glow. When I use a foundation famous for its luminosity, there's that luxurious sheen that flows across my face...!!! I thought there might be some strange ingredients in it that are usually found in makeup products, but that doesn't seem to be the case.. Anyway, I think it can be used as a light radiance-boosting base. When I apply this cream and do my makeup, my skin looks incredibly luminous and beautiful. The moisturizing is also good (based on my combination skin type) and I think it's a gentle cream for sensitive skin. Even if your skin is a bit sensitive, you can use this cream without worry. The ingredients aren't too heavy, and I was a bit skeptical at first, but using it, it's so gentle and there's absolutely no irritation or problems. I've often had products backfire on me when I tried to pick ones with good ingredients, but Avène seems to be good in the ingredient checker app, and in reality, it's gentle and nice to use. However, it is on the oily side, so it may not be the most suitable product for summer use. With the inherent oiliness of the product plus the luminous finish, it could make the skin look greasy in the summer, so I'll stick to using it in the drier seasons.

I really like the dewy, glowing skin look, so I tend to use a lot of luminous foundations.
