I've been using this for over 4 years now, and it's a product I consistently stock up on. With so many new cosmetics popping up these days, I'm not sure if there are more horse oil creams out there, but when I was looking for one, this had the highest horse oil content while being affordable. I've tried famous products from other brands, but in terms of quality and how well it suits my skin, this one works better for me. It's incredibly hydrating and wonderful! While it might feel a bit heavy in summer, in winter, you won't need any other moisturizer - this one's enough on its own. It's a shame that it comes in a jar you have to scoop from, but considering the texture, I suppose it can't be helped. I find it works better when applied at night rather than in the morning. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedOct 4, 2021
I've been using this for almost 4 years now... When it comes to a finishing cream, it's always horse oil cream for me. I worry about what I'd use if it ever gets discontinued! This isn't a product to apply before makeup (it causes pilling). It's best used as a night cream after showering. - hy******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2021
This is my go-to moisturizer for winter, always paired with other skincare products. For extremely dry skin, I recommend applying it along with facial oil. It's great to use year-round, except during summer. Applying a generous amount feels luxurious and uplifting! Sometimes, when my skin is extremely dry, it feels like the nourishment doesn't penetrate at all, leaving my skin feeling parched. - ya***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedNov 6, 2020
As it's a super rich balm-type product, it really tackles dryness well! If you apply a hydrating serum first and then layer this on top, your skin won't feel dry at all throughout the night. It's so thick that it's a bit challenging to apply. I'm not sure why the regular price is set so high when it's constantly on sale for much less on social media. - zx********Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 29, 2020
I bought this because I heard it had a high horse oil content. While it does feel a bit oily on my combination skin, I love how it makes my skin feel super soft and smooth! The scent isn't really my cup of tea. Also, when I apply makeup after using this, my combination skin tends to get quite oily, especially around the nose area! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 31, 2020
Absolutely fantastic for extremely dry skin. Doesn't cause any blemishes and even helps reduce redness. While it does contain some less-than-ideal ingredients, I always find myself coming back to Elizavecca even after trying more expensive products with 'cleaner' formulations. Why? Because Elizavecca uses a steam method, which means they use minimal emulsifiers to mix oil and water. It's also silicone oil-free, resulting in a matte texture that works perfectly for my skin. I actually prefer their Gelato Steam Cream, but since it's only sold at full price, I switched to this one. It seems they've packed in a lot of beneficial ingredients, as I've noticed significantly fewer blackheads. For those with super dry skin, try mixing it with carrot oil or rice bran oil for even better results! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedApr 10, 2020
Great for those with dry skin! As someone with dry skin myself, I loved how it kept my skin moisturized from evening application all the way through to the morning. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I was even pleased with the affordable price. - on*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2020
This product might be a bit heavy for oily to normal skin types. Personally, I mix it with body emulsion for use. I didn't find any particular drawbacks. I used it with satisfaction. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2020
1. The rich texture seems to lock in the hydration, preventing moisture from evaporating. 2. When I sleep with it on, my skin feels as soft and supple as if I've just done a mask treatment! Unfortunately, due to its rich nature, applying too much can clog pores, causing blemishes to pop up here and there. It's a bit disappointing... And then there's the price... To reduce the rich feeling, I mix it with a soothing gel. This creates a non-suffocating texture that works hard for my skin! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 2, 2019
As someone with extremely dry skin, I've been using this product consistently for several years now. I've tried many other rich creams, but none compare to this one! It's a perfect moisturizer for extremely dry skin, not too heavy, and it absorbs beautifully with a smooth application. Drawbacks... Even after using it for years, I can't find any cons to mention. In winter, I find mixing it with a propolis ampoule provides even better hydration.
