I absolutely love this product that I've been using for ages. It's especially amazing when I've been out in the sun - you can actually feel it soothing your skin. Definitely my holy grail item! The scent... well... it's not exactly pleasant. I guess that's what you get with organic products though. - hn*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2019
I've been using this for 10 years. Do I need to say more? While it has more cons than pros, it's still an amazing product for me that outweighs all the drawbacks. First off, it's excellent at calming my skin. When I stop using it, I always end up with blemishes or sensitive skin. Whether I've got sunburn, fatigue-induced sensitivity, or allergies, this cream works wonders without any issues. When Jurlique left the Korean market, it became impossible to buy offline. Now we have to purchase it online or at duty-free shops. I really wish they'd come back. Recently, I tried to switch to a different cream, but my skin went haywire. I quickly ordered this online, and as soon as I applied it, my skin calmed down like magic. It sounds like an ad, but it's not... I wish I could break free from this dependency. As my skin has become drier lately, I've started mixing in a bit of oil when I apply it. Except in winter, I only apply it at night. The cream is thick and doesn't absorb well. Even with just sunscreen on top, it tends to pill for me. It has an ointment-like texture. In the early days, it was literally just like an ointment. The packaging was metal, similar to L'Occitane hand creams, which made it worse. A few years ago, they reformulated it to be creamier, making it usable in winter. The application isn't great, and if you apply too much, it doesn't absorb well and can leave your face looking pale. The price is wicked. Even with the cheapest deals, it's around $50 for 50ml. It was the same when Jurlique had department store presence in Korea. You had to use coupons and points at duty-free shops to make it affordable. The 100ml is about $80. The tube is opaque, so it's hard to tell how much is left. When you think it's empty, you cut it open to find it's still full. The packaging is not great. The opening gets dirty easily (the cream tends to solidify), but I guess there's a reason for this packaging... Try to use it at night, and those with sensitive skin should definitely give it a try. Duty-free shops offer the best prices! If you want a creamier application or to use it during the day, I recommend mixing it with oil or another moisturizer. Please, many of you use it... so it can be imported to Korea again... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 23, 2019
I have sensitive combination skin. Ingredients are good, and there were no blemishes or irritation. It applies smoothly, though absorption seems a bit slow. However, it's fine if you gently pat it in. The hydration level is not overwhelming but adequate. It's a suitable moisturizer up to autumn, though I'm not sure about winter. While it's designed for sensitive skin, I think it would work well for most people. I purchased it locally. There's a slightly unpleasant smell. If you apply too much at once, there might be a slight white cast, but it does absorb quickly. I recommend applying it in small amounts, layering as needed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 20, 2019
I apply this locally when blemishes appear. The next day, I notice the affected skin has calmed down significantly. The price is a bit high for the amount you get. I'd love to apply it all over my face, but I can only use a small amount on necessary areas... - mi******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 26, 2018
The absorption, how well it absorbs, and the scent are all satisfying. I've been using this product for over 3 years, and not only has it not caused any blemishes, it's actually significantly improved my acne. There's nothing bad... However, it might be a bit drying if used alone during winter. I've seen a remarkable improvement in my U-zone acne by using this product generously, either on its own or mixed with tea tree oil or Darphin Niaouli oil for lymphatic massage. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 22, 2018
After using this, my blemishes completely disappeared... The price is a bit steep for a student like me, but it's made with such high-quality ingredients that it's worth it. This is truly a holy grail product that restored my skin to its honey-like smoothness, especially for someone like me who always had at least one inflamed pimple! As an Australian exchange student, I initially stuck to Korean products, but they're quite expensive here. So I tried various Australian brands, but this... it's genuinely a holy grail product that works hard for your skin! When first applying, it doesn't absorb well, so you need to mix in 2-3 drops of oil for better application. Make sure to use it with a face oil! It's a must! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2018
It really helped fade the red marks left by acne. I also applied it preemptively when I felt blemishes coming on. The formula is on the heavier side, so it feels a bit much to use in summer. Those with oily skin might find it challenging to use in the morning. - ya********Combination SkinAcne SkinNov 14, 2017
I bought this at duty-free after my friend raved about it, thinking it would be good for my sensitive skin. But oh boy, was I wrong! It caused massive breakouts. Sigh... Now it's just sitting in a corner, unused. I guess calendula just doesn't agree with my skin. The price is disappointing, and it's even more disappointing that it doesn't work for me. I'm currently using Atobarrier emulsion, but I can't even tell if it's helping with my tiny bumps. Honestly, ever since I first tried that DMCK ampoule, it feels like nothing agrees with my skin anymore. I hesitate to call this a tip, but I found it drying on my skin. I'm not sure how it works for others though. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 16, 2017
When applied, it feels more powdery than greasy, but surprisingly, it moisturizes well, which I love. My skin tends to be super sensitive and gets itchy and red even with slight dryness, but this cream has a calming effect. Hmm... The cream is quite thick, so you need to spread it carefully and thoroughly. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinJul 5, 2017
It absorbs gently and is mild on the skin. Since it doesn't absorb immediately, I massage it in circular motions, letting it melt with the warmth of my hands. The hydration could be better. As someone with dry skin, if I only apply this, I feel dryness setting in not long after. It's also on the pricier side. For my dry skin, the hydration is a bit weak, so after applying this, I layer on the Calendula Cream from the same line for extra moisture.
