When you need to apply just one base product in summer, this absorbs well and doesn't leave any stickiness, making it great for applying makeup over.
ConsWhile it's confidently recommended in stores as a whitening product, it's best not to expect any whitening effects. Therefore, considering its price, the functionality isn't particularly good.

The scent is milder compared to creams, and while there's a slight stickiness right after application, it absorbs quickly. I used to think brightening serums were heavy, but this one is light enough to use alone and provides just the right amount of hydration for makeup application. In my experience, it felt lighter than the Caudalie brightening serum. Despite having oily yet sensitive skin, which usually makes me hesitant to change my skincare routine, my skin has never been as stable (in terms of complexion and blemishes) as when using this product. It didn't cause any new breakouts or increase redness. While it may not have dramatically improved dark spots or marks as I had hoped, I noticed an overall improvement and stabilization of my skin tone. In terms of texture, I preferred the Cream Rich over the serum. The serum wasn't bad, but I questioned if it was worth the price. The cream, however, significantly improved my skin tone and oil-moisture balance.
ConsThe effectiveness doesn't quite justify the price. Given it's a well-known brand, I expected it to have a more significant impact on dark spots and blemishes. Apart from evening out my skin tone, I didn't see much improvement in terms of brightening.
TipIt was great that I could use this alone during summer! The lightweight packaging also made it convenient for travel. Plus, the pleasant fragrance makes application an enjoyable experience!

You'll gradually notice your complexion becoming brighter, like the dawn breaking. It's even better when applied together with a cream.
ConsThe price is wickedly high. A limited 50ml edition comes out once a year, so you need to watch for that opportunity to buy it.
TipIt's great for consistent use during spring and summer.

ConsThe most important aspect, the whitening effect, is practically non-existent. After checking the app, I noticed it doesn't contain any functional ingredients, so I won't be repurchasing

Its subtle fragrance and quick absorption are definite strengths. After application, it doesn't feel oily but rather gives a pleasant sensation of forming a protective barrier on the skin. Even though my hands tend to be dry, I can still feel a plump, moisturized sensation on my fingertips after applying.
ConsI typically use Chanel's Hydra line in summer and the Sublimage line in spring, fall, and winter. When I developed blemishes due to poor health, I visited a skincare show. The demonstrator claimed Le Blanc products naturally enhance radiance and are whitening, but I said it was fine since my darker skin tone makes it hard to see whitening effects. They insisted that pearl protein and TXC regenerate the skin barrier and promote skin health, preventing blemishes, so I bought it (I knew better, but I was foolish). In the end, not only did my blemishes not disappear, they actually increased. Although it didn't feel irritating during application, my skin would feel hot or become partially red, so I stopped using it. Even after my blemishes cleared up with dermatological treatment, the memory was so strong that I was too scared to use it on my face again. Now I apply it to my legs and feet - they're fine, at least! Of course, the initial cause of my blemishes was likely my constitution, but Chanel's claims about their proprietary technology and ingredients seem to only mean they were the first to use certain materials in cosmetics. When skin needs treatment or improvement, it seems more effective to use medication briefly rather than cosmetics. As for the whitening effects, it was hard for me to judge due to my darker skin tone.

It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it hydrated. Makeup also applies well over it.
ConsIf you have dry skin, make sure to follow this with a moisturizer. Of course, not from the Le Blanc line.

It instantly brightened my complexion, giving me a radiant look. As it's a brightening moisturizer, I think it'll help prepare my skin for the spring sunshine.
ConsFirst off, the price is wickedly high... It might be a bit too drying for those with dry skin.

It absorbs well, feels light, and definitely improved my complexion. But Chanel, in true Chanel fashion, discontinues it as soon as a new product comes out... I went to buy it again and it's gone!
ConsThey gave us a taste of something great, only to take it away... I loved it so much that I was planning to stock up during my next duty-free shopping trip, but as soon as the new product appeared on their website, they discontinued this one.

I've tried many whitening lines and had bad reactions, but after using Le Blanc Serum, I knew this was the one. I've been consistently purchasing it without changing. It absorbs extremely well and quickly - sometimes I even apply too much! It's not sticky and feels light, not rich. Even when my skin condition isn't great and my atopy flares up, it doesn't cause any tingling. This point greatly increases my satisfaction. I've been using it for years, and it definitely improves my complexion from within, so the brightening effect is certain. Perhaps because I've used it long-term, I'm satisfied with its brightening function too. Highly recommended for super sensitive skin!
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing about it. The only downside might be the high price... Also, since it's a brightening line, the hydration isn't at its maximum level.

It's less drying than other whitening products like Sislex or Gelex. There's no burning sensation, tingling, or itching. It absorbs quickly with minimal stickiness, so the application is smooth. I can't comment on its effectiveness for melasma since I don't have any. I'm not expecting miracles, but I'm not sure if it's really fading my dark spots or brightening my complexion. It's not quite a 'Wow, this is magic!' kind of product. While many people focus on whitening in winter, I rotate between firming, whitening, and hydrating products depending on my skin's needs. I was bored with my previous Es-something brightening essence, so I decided to try this. I prefer daily skincare to delay the need for procedures, especially since I have thin skin. The pump dispenser feels smooth, and the product absorbs refreshingly without causing dryness, heat, or irritation. These advantages make me likely to repurchase it.
ConsThe artificial scent can be off-putting when I'm not feeling my best. It makes me a bit queasy. When I'm in good condition, it's somewhat tolerable. It's just not to my taste.
TipWith the warmer weather lately, I've been layering this product under a light, oil-free moisturizer, followed by sunscreen. Then I mix another dab of moisturizer with my foundation. This routine keeps my skin hydrated all day. While duty-free prices are a bit lower than retail, there are no samples, and points or coupons don't apply to this brand. Unless you're a Chanel devotee replacing multiple products, it's better to buy from a store. You can get samples to test (especially important for whitening products) and try other items like the Sublimage mask cream. The samples from stores are more generous than the stingy duty-free offerings. Their events aren't great either. Unless it's a duty-free exclusive Chanel set, I don't see much point in duty-free shopping for this.
