It actually worked! Oh, I just remembered I should use it again. Hehe! I bought an additional spot treatment, but now I can't tell which one was effective. Let's try using them one at a time! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 22, 2019
It provides hydration to the skin and has a calming effect. When you need to apply just one base product in summer, this absorbs well and doesn't leave any stickiness, making it great for applying makeup over. While it's confidently recommended in stores as a whitening product, it's best not to expect any whitening effects. Therefore, considering its price, the functionality isn't particularly good. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2018
I've collected this entire product line, and it really helps achieve a clear and clean complexion. Apparently, it's due to Chanel's special TXC patent. If you're looking for brightening effects, this might be a good choice for you. Overall, the application is great for all products, and they adhere to the skin wonderfully. Chanel's prices, haha! But I must say, they're worth every penny. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 12, 2018
As someone with oily skin, I found this product sufficient on its own during summer. The scent is milder compared to creams, and while there's a slight stickiness right after application, it absorbs quickly. I used to think brightening serums were heavy, but this one is light enough to use alone and provides just the right amount of hydration for makeup application. In my experience, it felt lighter than the Caudalie brightening serum. Despite having oily yet sensitive skin, which usually makes me hesitant to change my skincare routine, my skin has never been as stable (in terms of complexion and blemishes) as when using this product. It didn't cause any new breakouts or increase redness. While it may not have dramatically improved dark spots or marks as I had hoped, I noticed an overall improvement and stabilization of my skin tone. In terms of texture, I preferred the Cream Rich over the serum. The serum wasn't bad, but I questioned if it was worth the price. The cream, however, significantly improved my skin tone and oil-moisture balance. The effectiveness doesn't quite justify the price. Given it's a well-known brand, I expected it to have a more significant impact on dark spots and blemishes. Apart from evening out my skin tone, I didn't see much improvement in terms of brightening. It was great that I could use this alone during summer! The lightweight packaging also made it convenient for travel. Plus, the pleasant fragrance makes application an enjoyable experience! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 16, 2018
Is this the first skincare product you've used where you can actually see the brightening effects? (Not dramatically, but it did slightly reduce the size of some old blemishes. People with severe hyperpigmentation and lots of dark spots might notice it more...) I bought it mainly for the Cetyl Tranexamic HCL (Chanel's proprietary technology that enhances epidermal absorption by adding a cetyl group and a base to Shiseido's Tranexamic Acid). I don't usually have high expectations for cosmetics, but I have to admit Chanel makes good skincare products. Chanel's signature peach scent might be polarizing. The packaging design is beautiful, but you can't see how much product is left. The Double Action TXC shown here is the 2017 version. They claim that from 2018, the name changed slightly and the ingredients were tweaked a bit. Comparing the ingredient lists, there are minor differences. But the biggest issue is the extremely high price... 176,000 won, is that for real? Using the entire Le Blanc line might enhance the effects even more. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2018
The fragrance is pleasant and it absorbs well. You'll gradually notice your complexion becoming brighter, like the dawn breaking. It's even better when applied together with a cream. The price is wickedly high. A limited 50ml edition comes out once a year, so you need to watch for that opportunity to buy it. It's great for consistent use during spring and summer. - ro*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2018
A hydrating whitening serum that doesn't leave skin dry, with a rich, bouncy texture that absorbs well into the skin The most important aspect, the whitening effect, is practically non-existent. After checking the app, I noticed it doesn't contain any functional ingredients, so I won't be repurchasing - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 10, 2018
The rich gel-like texture applies effortlessly without feeling heavy. Its subtle fragrance and quick absorption are definite strengths. After application, it doesn't feel oily but rather gives a pleasant sensation of forming a protective barrier on the skin. Even though my hands tend to be dry, I can still feel a plump, moisturized sensation on my fingertips after applying. I typically use Chanel's Hydra line in summer and the Sublimage line in spring, fall, and winter. When I developed blemishes due to poor health, I visited a skincare show. The demonstrator claimed Le Blanc products naturally enhance radiance and are whitening, but I said it was fine since my darker skin tone makes it hard to see whitening effects. They insisted that pearl protein and TXC regenerate the skin barrier and promote skin health, preventing blemishes, so I bought it (I knew better, but I was foolish). In the end, not only did my blemishes not disappear, they actually increased. Although it didn't feel irritating during application, my skin would feel hot or become partially red, so I stopped using it. Even after my blemishes cleared up with dermatological treatment, the memory was so strong that I was too scared to use it on my face again. Now I apply it to my legs and feet - they're fine, at least! Of course, the initial cause of my blemishes was likely my constitution, but Chanel's claims about their proprietary technology and ingredients seem to only mean they were the first to use certain materials in cosmetics. When skin needs treatment or improvement, it seems more effective to use medication briefly rather than cosmetics. As for the whitening effects, it was hard for me to judge due to my darker skin tone. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2018
For combination skin, this seems like a great product for summer use. It absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it hydrated. Makeup also applies well over it. If you have dry skin, make sure to follow this with a moisturizer. Of course, not from the Le Blanc line. - tk*******Combination SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2018
1. Fragrance - While I'm not usually a fan of scented products, Chanel's fragrance doesn't cause any blemishes. 2. Absorption - It doesn't absorb immediately, but as you spread it over your face, it sinks in fairly quickly. 3. Hydration - For a brightening product, it's surprisingly moisturizing and you can feel the hydration. 4. Pilling - This seems to be one of Chanel's strengths. You can layer it without any pilling whatsoever. I initially bought this after trying a sample and liking how it absorbed. I purchased the 50ml limited edition and use it with the Le Blanc line's spot treatment, cream, oil, and sleeping pack, but I'm not sure about the effectiveness. I wonder if I've become desensitized from long-term use. I'll need to finish this one and try something else to really judge its effectiveness. The 50ml size seems economical. It lasts forever even with regular use.
