ConsAlthough the ingredients are gentle and I tried it for blemishes, I noticed small bumps slowly appearing on my skin. Also, for some reason, it stings and irritates my eyes if it gets in or even close to them. The application isn't as smooth as I'd like, and it feels a bit heavy on my skin, which I found somewhat uncomfortable.

As someone with dry skin, I love that it has just the right amount of richness for summer. Plus, there's absolutely no white cast, and it looks very natural.
ConsThere might be a bit of menthol in it, as there's a slight tingling sensation when first applied, which is a bit concerning. Also, while I understand it's meant for blemish-prone skin, I think people with oily skin might find it a bit too rich.

At first, it felt a bit sticky, but once it absorbs, it feels fine. I love that I can use it liberally without worrying about breakouts.
ConsAs soon as I applied it, my face felt like it was burning and became red and irritated. The sensation subsided after a while. The next time I used it, I applied a thicker layer of toner, emulsion, and cream underneath, which helped a bit. I'm not sure why this happens, but it was quite scary.

It feels hydrated to the touch without being greasy.
ConsIt causes extreme redness. You'll have no choice but to wear makeup when using this. There's also some white cast. And if not applied carefully, it pills. It takes a lot of time to apply properly. I'd rather just buy a slightly richer sunscreen and use oil-control powder on top.

The lid helps maintain hygiene.
ConsIt feels thick and heavy on the skin. The tone has an unnatural purplish tint. It caused my skin to break out. The lid tends to come off easily in my bag.

ConsInitially feels a bit warm on application, but settles after a while. Strange scent. Eyes may feel dry at first (seems to improve with use). While the surface feels moisturized, there's a slight tightness underneath (can be mitigated by applying a good moisturizer before sunscreen)
TipFor best results, dot the product on your face and gently pat it in with a puff. This method prevents pilling and ensures even application

ConsAs someone with super sensitive skin, I found it a bit suffocating and uncomfortable... The scent when applying wasn't very pleasant either. It was quite disappointing.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsIt doesn't seem to cause more blemishes. The absorption is okay, and the price isn't too bad for what you get.
ConsIt's a bit oily, though not excessively. There's some pilling, and strangely, it looks like some powder residue appears. It's not the sunscreen that's pilling, but I think it might be whatever ingredient is supposed to control sebum. Occasionally, it stings quite badly, like I've applied toothpaste. The stinging does go away after a while... and it doesn't cause my skin to react badly, so I keep using it, but it's concerning.
TipJust pat it in gently instead of rubbing to help it absorb. For the powder-like residue, use a puff to lightly dust it from the center of your face outwards before applying foundation. Curious! Has anyone tried both this and the Avène sunscreen emulsion for oily skin (Dry Touch?)? I'd love a comparison if someone's used both!

ConsAfter taking medication from the dermatologist, my skin improved. However, when my skin was at its most sensitive, using this product caused a serious burning sensation and heat on my face. It's also disappointing that the SPF is low, and it pills terribly when applying makeup.
TipWhen applying makeup, wait about 30 seconds after putting on this product, gently patting it in. Then, dot on foundation or BB cream with your fingers and blend it out with a Real Techniques orange sponge. This helps reduce pilling, though it still happens to some extent.

ConsSigh. I finally realized why my makeup kept pilling like dead skin cells. It's because of this product. After applying, my face feels hot, and it's like my skin is dry underneath but greasy and shiny on the surface.
TipTo prevent pilling, start with a solid skincare routine. Wait for products to absorb fully, then quickly pat on this sunscreen. Give it time to set, then lightly apply a small amount of BB cream or foundation with a puff. Finally, press your palms against your face to help everything adhere. This should minimize pilling.
