I always hated how sticky sunscreens felt, so I never used them. But I accidentally tried this one, and I've been using it ever since! Even with my oily skin, it doesn't feel sticky at all, and there's hardly any white cast. It leaves my skin feeling nice and matte. I'm not sure if it's because of my skin condition, but it stings a bit when I apply it. The stinging subsides after a while, but it's uncomfortable during application. It doesn't cause redness or blemishes, but the tingling sensation is unpleasant. Other than that, it's fine. Be careful not to apply it too vigorously. The texture is quite matte, so if you rub it in too hard all at once, it might pill a bit. - ha*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 12, 2019
First off, I really liked that it comes in a pump bottle, which is great for hygiene. It's perfect for summer when you sweat a lot. This Avène product applies smoothly like an emulsion at first, then sets to a matte finish, which I found really nice. The amount seems quite generous too! Since it's best to use up sunscreen within a season anyway, those who feel it's not enough might find comfort in thinking about it that way. While it applies smoothly, it turns matte within seconds, so you need to spread it quickly. I made the mistake of applying it before makeup and then getting distracted... big disaster! For those using this, don't do anything else, just apply it right away. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it's okay for me, but I think it would be really great for those with oily skin. Like most people, I tend to apply my skincare products generously. If you do this, you'll find that this sunscreen works well without any pilling. I've almost used it all up! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 3, 2019
I decided to give this sunscreen a try because it was advertised as having gentle ingredients. I'm not sure how gentle it actually is, but when I apply it, my face feels a burning sensation. Also, the texture is a bit thick and heavy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2019
It's great for acne-prone, blemish-prone, and super oily skin without making you look like a greaseball It absorbs a bit too quickly maybe? You need to pat it in like crazy to avoid any white cast - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 7, 2019
The best part is how easily it can be applied. I liked that it wasn't too sticky. About an hour or two after applying, my cheeks started burning intensely. Even though it's from Avène and supposedly safe for babies, I stopped using it after that burning sensation. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2019
● It's great that it doesn't cause blemishes even on sensitive skin prone to flushing and redness. ● The white cast is mild, and it provides a decent amount of tone correction. ● The pump dispenser allows for clean and easy application. ● The initial scent when applying is quite strong, though it fades quickly. ● While it doesn't particularly cause blemishes, there's a slight tightening sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2019
As someone with oily skin, I loved how it left my face feeling fresh and matte. My face feels like it's burning, and I'm not sure why! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2019
When applied, it doesn't leave an excessively greasy finish, and the pump dispenser makes it hygienic to use. There's a slight white cast, and I bought it for daily bare-faced use, but it feels a bit heavier than expected when applied. Also, the amount seems a little small for the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2019
It absorbs well and has a lovely scent. The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use. I've been using Avène for my skincare routine, so I naturally assumed this sunscreen would suit me well and bought it. However, when I applied it, I felt a strong tingling sensation on my forehead and cheeks. Unfortunately, it seems this product doesn't agree with my skin, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 9, 2019
It's lightweight, absorbs well, and naturally brightens the complexion, which I love Usually, I'd ignore the slight burning sensation when applying it. However, on a day when my skin was a bit sensitive, it caused intense burning and swelling around my upper lip area. I was shocked and immediately washed it off, then applied a different sunscreen. Absolutely not recommended for those with super sensitive skin!
