It's amazing!
ConsIt has a menthol-like ingredient that causes a burning sensation for a few minutes after application. Those with super sensitive skin should keep this in mind.

That's the first thing that really appeals to me. Compared to a similar product I was considering - the Bu** Eucalyptus and Menthol - this one is safer and slightly smaller in volume. But even taking that into account, it's more affordable at Olive Young. Depending on where you buy it, it's priced around 5,000 won. It's hard to find a natural product with completely safe ingredients at this price point. Plus, the small size and low cost make it perfect for using up before the expiration date and replacing. I previously received Ki** as a gift, but I disliked its poor ingredients and excessive oiliness that made my lips too shiny. Even with diligent use, I couldn't finish it before it expired, which was such a waste. This one, however, provides longer-lasting hydration. It's colorless as shown in the photo, and the texture is softer than a typical chapstick. Being inexpensive and soft, I wouldn't feel wasteful even if I didn't use it all up. I've never been so satisfied with the ingredients of a lip balm before. The hydration is good, and I love the genuine peppermint scent. It exceeds my expectations. Besides the cool sensation and tingling aroma, peppermint has a subtle, unique scent that I adore. Among peppermint products, I've only experienced this true scent in candies before. The fact that I can properly smell the authentic peppermint makes me trust this product even more.
ConsPeppermint can be irritating due to its menthol content and isn't recommended for pregnant women. Please refer to the tips for more information. Oh, and one more thing. I wish it were a bit cheaper...
TipIf your lips keep cracking after using this, it might be due to the menthol in the peppermint. Consider switching to a different product. Peppermint can potentially cause miscarriage in pregnant women, so if you must use something with similar ingredients, opt for the baby version without peppermint. The lemon-lime variant in the same line contains citrus oil, which can cause photosensitivity. While cosmetic-grade citrus oils supposedly have the phototoxic components removed, it may still not be suitable for those with sensitive skin. The baby version is generally the safest option. As mentioned earlier, it's softer than a typical chapstick, so use it gently. You don't need to extend it as much as shown in the photo - that's just my personal preference. However, it's best to minimize air exposure when using it. --- May 2016 Update: I recently went to Olive Young to buy this, but two stores I know no longer stock Dr. Bronner's lip balm. I found out it's available at Watsons instead. Also, for those who find this product or Burt's Bees products unsuitable, it's worth comparing ingredients since this product has a simple composition. While it's hard to pinpoint exactly which product in the Burt's Bees range to compare with, the most common ingredient is beeswax. If you confirm an allergy to this, it's best to avoid propolis-related products as well.
