First off, it's incredibly soft. It truly melts upon contact with your skin, making it absorb beautifully. It's also exceptionally hydrating. The peppermint scent is milder than expected. Compared to Burt's Bees mint flavor, Dr. Bronner's seems a bit subtler. The fragrance preference might vary from person to person, so it's best to choose based on individual taste. When you apply this peppermint lip balm and put on a mask, you get a temporary sensation of cleared sinuses. - no*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2020
It feels moisturizing when applied, providing good hydration, and the scent is pleasantly mild! I don't have any complaints yet. Surprisingly, it doesn't have that strong, sharp peppermint sensation! - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2020
I love the cool scent and refreshing sensation unique to peppermint. It would be perfect to use in summer! The lid is a bit stiff when opening and closing, which can be slightly inconvenient. Also, be careful when removing the initial sticker - if you're too hasty, it might tear off completely in one go. - pd*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 9, 2019
First off, I love that it has great ingredients and is an organic product. The peppermint scent is refreshingly cool, and it applies with a nice moisturizing feel. The texture is quite soft, and due to this characteristic, you have to use up all the product you've scooped out. It's a bit tricky to push the product back in. Other than that, I can't really think of any downsides. - ch**********Dry SkinRecommendedJul 29, 2019
I've finally settled on this lip balm. Let me briefly share my lip balm nomad story. I've tried Vaseline, Nivea (strawberry, sky blue, for men), Kiehl's Lip Treatment, Burt's Bees (lip treatment, honey, grapefruit, vanilla, acai berry) - but forget all those. I haven't found anything that applies as smoothly as Dr. Bronner's while having such great ingredients. Especially among those, without naming names, there were some that pretended to have good ingredients but actually didn't, which left me feeling betrayed. I love Dr. Bronner's lip balm. The scent is even nice and refreshing (mint). I stock up on one every time it's on sale at Boots. The small size! I wish it came in a larger tube. Apply it before bed! Or right before putting on a matte lipstick. However, if you apply it just before a moisturizing lipstick, it might cause pilling since this balm is also quite hydrating. - ad*****Combination SkinRecommendedJul 19, 2019
I love how it instantly feels soothing and hydrating upon application. The product is on the softer side, so you need to be extra gentle when applying it, especially during summer months. - kj****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 2, 2019
I've been using the sky blue lip balm and decided to try the peppermint one too! Apart from the cooling sensation of the mint, they're quite similar overall. 1. Ingredients Many lip balms contain questionable ingredients, but I love that I can use this one with peace of mind! 2. Cooling effect The refreshing sensation makes applying this lip balm a pleasant experience every time. The twist-up mechanism for the lip balm breaks far too easily. I gave one to a friend as a gift, and they mentioned the same issue - it wouldn't twist up. The packaging seems quite flimsy... - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2019
I loved that the peppermint scent wasn't overpowering when applied. It spread evenly and quickly made my lips feel smooth. Sometimes lip balm fragrances can be too strong and overwhelming, but this peppermint aroma was refreshingly cool. It left my lips feeling wonderfully refreshed. The generous amount of product is absolutely fantastic! It's a bit tricky to control the amount... Even a quick swipe applies quite a lot, which can be surprising. Since it applies generously with just one swipe, try using a light touch. For areas with more severe chapping, you can apply a bit more. - we****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinNov 7, 2018
I was looking for a lip balm with a natural feel, and I heard this one had great ingredients, so I decided to buy it. My lips have been cracking and getting dry lately, so I've been applying this daily. However, it feels like it just sits on top of my lips like oil without absorbing. Even with just a light application, it feels too slippery. Unfortunately, my chapped lips haven't improved at all. - Hwahae UserDry SkinOct 17, 2018
Psychological comfort? It's an organic product with good reviews... Last year, I got blisters on my lips after using an organic lip balm... and it's happening again this year. Back then, I didn't realize this was the cause, but now I'm pretty sure it is. From now on, I'm staying away from organic lip balms.
