For a more intense and beautiful line, try roughly sketching the shape with a pen liner first, then go over it with this product to enhance the line.

It's challenging to use when you're in a hurry. The liner dries and sets immediately after drawing, so if you make a mistake, it's nearly impossible to remove by rubbing, which can irritate your skin. You have to completely remove it with a cotton swab and makeup remover, then start over from scratch. It's not easy to make corrections, so it might be difficult for those who aren't skilled at drawing eyeliner.

It dries quickly and sets, so it doesn't smudge or require touch-ups due to other products, which is great! There's a subtle shimmer that's not overwhelming and looks pretty. The texture is smooth while drawing the line and before it dries, which I loved! I thought the product inside might dry out quickly and become unusable, but surprisingly, it doesn't harden - maybe because of the thick cap. That's a plus!

There wasn't really anything I disliked about it. I think it won't smudge even on oily eyelids!

There's not much to dislike, but if I had to pick something, I've never been able to use it up completely. When I've used about 1/3 of it, the gel liner starts to dry out.

I've been using this ever since it first launched. I used to use Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner, but I much prefer MAC's gel liner. It smudges less than other gel eyeliners, applies smoothly, and dries quickly. Plus, it lasts all day! The amount you get is also beast-mode generous.

The downside is having to choose the brush yourself. It's a bit hit-or-miss because no matter how good the product is, if the essential accompanying brush isn't great, it can ruin the experience.

Absolutely fantastic! It doesn't smudge at all, has amazing staying power, and the color is natural and beautiful. It glides on effortlessly. I'm thoroughly impressed. I've tried Mac lipsticks before since they're famous for them, but I had a preconception that their other products wouldn't be as good. I bought this on a friend's recommendation, and now I feel I can approach all Mac products with an open mind.

It clumped a bit for me, though that might be due to my application technique. Still, I'm fairly satisfied as it's darker and more vivid than the Kiss Me brand I used before.
