It's fantastic to apply when you have blemishes or itchiness. It feels so refreshing! There's nothing disappointing about it, except that it's a bit pricey. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 26, 2023
When my face itches from folliculitis acne, I dab this on with a cotton swab. By the next day, it's so soothing! There's not really anything to complain about. Just be careful not to apply too much, as it can cause a slight tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2022
I personally loved the cool scent and feel of this product. While the effects aren't dramatically instant, it definitely has better soothing properties than the roll-on type. It was particularly effective on red, itchy blemishes that were just starting to appear. Compared to the roll-on version, I was satisfied with the hygiene aspect as you need to dispense the product separately. The scent is quite strong, which might be polarizing for some users. It can be a bit inconvenient as you need to dispense the product separately. Controlling the amount is tricky. When I first used it, I tilted the bottle with a cotton swab at the opening, and the product ran down my hand. Perhaps because it's 100% pure, the scent and warming sensation are intense, which can cause irritation. (I purchased this as a set with the roll-on type and used the roll-on first, so I keep comparing them.) I found that holding a cotton swab at the opening for just 1-2 seconds gives the perfect amount to use. Apply it only on the blemishes. If you apply it to the surrounding areas, it may cause irritation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 20, 2021
I bought this to apply on blemishes, but when winter came and my hands got dry, I mixed it with hand cream. Amazingly, the itchiness disappeared! It's incredibly effective! I absolutely love it. It doesn't dispense in single drops, which makes it difficult to control the amount used. You can also add a drop to body emulsion or aloe gel for a great all-over body application. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 5, 2021
When you dab a small amount on areas with blemishes, you immediately feel a cooling sensation. Its soothing effect is so excellent that I sometimes apply it to mosquito bites too. It really helps reduce the itching. I use this as the final step in my skincare routine. The container opening makes it inconvenient to use. Tea tree oil is typically used in very small amounts, but it's not easy to control the quantity with this packaging. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 22, 2021
This product is truly effective against blemishes. I even apply it when I get mosquito bites - if you put it on right after being bitten and wait a bit, it really reduces the itching and heals quickly. I've heard it also has detoxifying properties. Instead of using products like Bumurin, I highly recommend trying tea tree oil! The expiration date isn't clearly marked on the product. This made me feel a bit uneasy about using it. During your skincare routine, use a cotton swab to apply it directly to areas with blemishes! - Hwahae UserDry SkinApr 17, 2021
The fragrance is lovely. I have allergies, and when I applied it to my itchy skin, it had a soothing effect. I'll need to use it consistently to really tell, but I haven't noticed any significant benefits yet. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 30, 2021
For itchy areas due to atopic dermatitis, mixing this with toner and applying an emulsion on top can be quite helpful. I love the tea tree scent, so adding a couple of drops to a eucalyptus candle makes my room smell as fresh as a forest. While some tea tree products can have an overpowering scent, this one has just the right intensity. If I had to point out a drawback, it might be the difficulty in controlling the amount dispensed. However, this seems to be common for products with this type of packaging. A dropper might actually be worse due to increased air exposure. Mixing it with emulsion or toner and applying to itchy areas can soothe and reduce irritation while calming the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 1, 2019
It seems to be really beneficial for itchy, blemish-prone skin. Mixing it with an emulsion and applying it to itchy areas works wonders. The scent... I found it a bit off-putting, more than I expected. It's better when I mix it with a nicely scented emulsion before applying. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2018
* Organic / Hwahae Special Deal * I was very satisfied that it's a single natural oil ingredient, making it organic. I could get help with blemishes and itching without worrying about pesticide residues. * I bought it during a Hwahae sale and used points, scoring 4 bottles for just 11,000 won including shipping. It felt great to get an organic product so cheaply. * Container design that doesn't allow for precise dosage: While it's good that it comes in a small 10ml size to reduce the risk of spoilage, the opening isn't a dropper style, making it difficult to dispense just the right amount. My skin tolerates tea tree oil well, so overuse wasn't an issue for me, but those who are more sensitive to tea tree might find it challenging to use only a small amount. * As it's a natural oil, it's essential to test if it suits your skin. Mix it with your usual skincare products and apply to your arm and neck for at least 3 days before use. Applying undiluted tea tree oil directly to sensitive skin can risk skin damage similar to burns. Be cautious. For those like me who tolerate tea tree well, it's great as a spot treatment for itchy areas or emerging blemishes, and mixing it into a sleeping pack provides a soothing effect overnight. The strong tea tree scent (grassy smell) makes it more comfortable for nighttime use. Note that tea tree oil naturally doesn't feel moisturizing. Keep that in mind!
