The scent is refreshing and pleasant. I appreciate that it's made with naturally derived ingredients. I'm still not sure if it's effective for blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 27, 2021
I thought the amount would be small, but it's actually quite generous! Many people say the scent is hit or miss, but personally, I'm a fan. Also, it's so refreshing to spritz a drop or two on your underwear or clothes. When using it on your skin, you really need to be careful with the amount. I applied just a drop or two on my forehead using a cotton swab, and now I'm suffering from a severe breakout of tiny blemishes... Make sure to patch test before using it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 30, 2021
For itchy areas due to atopic dermatitis, mixing this with toner and applying an emulsion on top can be quite helpful. I love the tea tree scent, so adding a couple of drops to a eucalyptus candle makes my room smell as fresh as a forest. While some tea tree products can have an overpowering scent, this one has just the right intensity. If I had to point out a drawback, it might be the difficulty in controlling the amount dispensed. However, this seems to be common for products with this type of packaging. A dropper might actually be worse due to increased air exposure. Mixing it with emulsion or toner and applying to itchy areas can soothe and reduce irritation while calming the skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinOct 15, 2020
Let me summarize it briefly for you! A truly honest review! It surprisingly helped alleviate deep dryness. The refreshing sensation from the tea tree oil's unique scent was invigorating! Although it was said to be good for managing blemishes, it didn't seem to work for me in that regard. I didn't see any effects on blemish control. I mix a few drops into my skincare routine or dilute a few drops in water for my final cleansing step! It feels really refreshing, and after washing, my skin doesn't feel tight at all, which I love! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 16, 2020
I've been mixing 2-3 drops of tea tree oil with my essence or serum when applying. At first, I was surprised by the tingling sensation, but when applied to the skin (except around the eyes), it feels refreshing and invigorating. Being 100% tea tree oil, it seems to have a quick soothing effect on my skin. As expected with 100% tea tree oil, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. Apart from that, I don't have any other complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 13, 2019
At first, I was surprised by the scent, but now I'm totally hooked! It gives a soothing feeling to my skin and leaves me feeling refreshed before bed. Even though I applied it consistently, it didn't completely prevent blemishes... When mixed with The Face Shop's all-in-one soothing gel, it feels incredibly refreshing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 4, 2019
As someone with combination skin, I don't usually get acne, but occasionally I'll get a pimple or two. I've found that applying a bit of this product with a cotton swab on blemishes helps calm them down by the next day. The effects are truly impressive! When I first tried the product on the back of my hand, I noticed the texture was lightweight and surprisingly moisturizing. What I loved most was the cool, refreshing scent typical of tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is known for its antibacterial and soothing properties, plus it helps regulate sebum production, so it's become my go-to product. Yesterday, I had a pimple on the bridge of my nose, but after consistently applying the tea tree oil, it's significantly reduced and no longer itchy or painful. Usually, when a pimple is just starting to form, improper care can lead to infection or growth, but this product helped it heal perfectly. It's amazing how popular products really do work differently! Honestly, the effectiveness makes me want to use it even more consistently. The downside is that the oil dispenser is quite inconvenient. I wish it had a dropper, which would make it much easier to use. I've tried applying it directly to my skin, but sometimes the nozzle touches my face as the drops fall, which isn't ideal. It's really frustrating to use. Also, if you're not careful, the oil can run down your face when you're trying to apply it. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I found it quite awkward. After that, I started using a cotton swab, but it still feels a bit cumbersome. When I have skin blemishes, I apply tea tree oil with a cotton swab as the last step of my skincare routine. It's amazing how it starts to calm down the next day. Another way to use it is by mixing a drop or two into your shampoo. It's great for those with a lot of scalp buildup. It's also beneficial for sensitive scalps, especially if you've had a lot of hair treatments like coloring or perms. I used this method 2-3 times a week and felt that my scalp was refreshed and had less buildup. A third way to use tea tree oil is by adding a few drops to your foot bath or regular bath. The scent of 100% tea tree oil is quite strong - I nearly fainted when I first smelled it! It has a potent herbal aroma. But when you use just 2-3 drops in a bath, it becomes pleasantly fragrant. It's great for clearing your head when you have a headache. Lastly, I learned a tip from a TV show about mixing tea tree oil with rubbing alcohol and spraying it on bedding to repel dust mites. It's especially useful for mattresses, which are hard to disinfect. The ratio should be 50:1 alcohol to tea tree oil. After mixing, just spray it on any fabrics you want to sanitize. I even use it in drains and the refrigerator - it seems to reduce flies in summer and eliminates fridge odors!
