They seem to be a gentle type. A family member who used to shout that their face was stinging whenever something was applied, is now saying that this doesn't hurt. Philosopia products seem to lack moisture. I used this and it dried out my skin, so I gave it to my family. And when you apply this, it makes your face sparkle like there are pearls in it... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 23, 2016
I used to use the original Clinique Moisture Gel, but I bought it directly. After reading the blog reviews, which were good, I bought it, but it felt a bit more slippery than expected... When I applied it to the back of my hand, it felt refreshing. I'm normally oily-skinned, but my chin is a bit dry. Maybe that's why, instead of feeling refreshing, it felt a bit more like it was cracking. After applying it, it felt more like it was evaporating rather than being absorbed. Not only this, but I found that mixing a drop or two of a slightly thicker skin with the moisture gel and applying it in thin layers several times to the chin area helped a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 22, 2015
It's moisturizing. It feels like it has more moisture than oil. It's a bit like a gel-type moisturizer rather than a cream. After applying, it becomes soft and supple like mochi. The ingredients are disappointing... Since I have sensitive skin, I probably won't use it much because of the ingredients. If your skin is not sensitive and you just need more moisture, I would recommend it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 6, 2015
Many people seem to not use this product much, but as a summer moisturizer, there's nothing better than this. It has a gel-like texture that applies smoothly, with a subtle shimmer that makes it glisten. There's no stickiness, and the finish is clean. The price is also good. The only downside, if any, is that during the dry autumn and winter, you may need to apply it together with an oil-based cream.
