The rich, creamy lather is excellent It effectively removes oil while not leaving my face feeling tight, which I love The scent is also quite appealing I'm using it so well that there's hardly anything to complain about The price is also reasonable - wa********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsAug 12, 2024
The gentle formula seemed to have decent cleansing effectiveness I didn't notice any significant effects like preventing acne or reducing blemishes. It's just an average foam cleanser - uj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJul 13, 2024
It's hard to find again in Korea, but as a medicinal cleanser, it's really effective! The citrus scent and vitamin C derivatives make it incredibly refreshing. Plus, it contains 'isopropyl methyl phenol', an antibacterial ingredient that's great for blemishes. Being a Mentholatum brand, you can trust it, and it works so well for me that I don't have many complaints. The only downside is that it's difficult to find in Korea. Squeeze about 2cm of the cleanser onto your hand, add a small amount of water, and it creates a rich, dense lather! - se*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 19, 2022
It's a cream-type foam cleanser that, despite its creamy texture, had excellent cleansing effectiveness. Compared to other creamy foams, it has better ingredients, which gives me peace of mind. I was asked to mention any drawbacks, but honestly, I couldn't find any. - sk******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 14, 2022
When emulsifying with water, it turns into a milky liquid, reminiscent of cleansing oil. It doesn't foam at all, which I appreciate. The gentle cleansing effectiveness is really nice. Personally, I didn't find any aspects disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 7, 2021
I tried this product a few years ago when my blemishes were really flaring up. I think I've used almost all of the Acnes products. At first, it seemed like the blemishes were calming down a bit, but after a week, I didn't see much effect. Still, it washed off well during cleansing and wasn't bad overall. I expected most blemish products to have not-so-great ingredients, and this one isn't great either. It's not terrible, but considering the price, I didn't see much benefit... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2020
It seems to cleanse well and leaves a refreshing feeling after washing! I think I might have gotten a few more blemishes... I'm not sure about its effectiveness. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 16, 2020
It feels soft and leaves my skin feeling smooth and refreshed after use. The gentleness is definitely noticeable... it feels like there's absolutely zero irritation. There's not really anything bad, but it might be too gentle for some people's tastes. It could be a love-it-or-hate-it product. A face brush is a must when using this... otherwise, you might not feel like you've properly cleansed. But it definitely does clean your skin well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2020
Back when my skin was going through hell, I was at an internet cafe searching Naver for 'acne foam cleansers'. I stumbled upon a post saying it was sold at convenience stores - maybe 7-Eleven or GS25, can't remember which. Anyway, I dashed down to the first floor, bought it, and huffed and puffed my way back up to the fourth floor to wash my face in the bathroom. At that time, my face was an oily mess, covered in blemishes and redness. After the first use, it stripped away all the excess oil, leaving my skin squeaky clean. My inflamed acne seemed to calm down a bit, and my face, which had been as red as if I'd been drinking, became pale. For a convenience store product, I thought it was pretty impressive. Highly recommended for oily skin types. It's now 13,500 won on Hwahae. Twelve years ago, it was 12,000 won at the convenience store. Using it now, maybe because my skin has aged and my skin type has changed as I've gotten older, it feels way too drying. Absolutely not recommended for dry skin types. Even if you have dry skin, I think it could be okay for acne-prone skin if your skin barrier is really strong. If you have dry or very dry skin and you must use this foam, make sure to apply your skincare products meticulously afterwards. Layer on multiple products like ampoules, serums, and hydrating creams, patting them in to ensure proper absorption. If you don't do this, you might end up with double the blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 8, 2020
I loved how it left my skin feeling squeaky clean and thoroughly refreshed! I used this for my blemishes, but it seems to have made my skin even more sensitive... Is it just me?
