If it accidentally gets up to the scalp, it can be itchy, so you must pump it out a little at a time, starting from the middle, and apply it in several portions.

The scent was quite strong when I first used it, and the conditioner fragrance bothered me all day (I generally don't like cosmetic scents), but I've gotten used to it now.

Costco brands usually don't produce directly but outsource, and the shampoo and conditioner are (as far as I know) produced by the same place as Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner. The severely tangled bleached parts, and since it's around $8 in the US, I thought it was worth a try. The ingredients aren't the best, but it doesn't cause any allergic reactions in the allergy-prone line, and the bleached parts of my hair feel silky smooth and very soft when brushed. It even seems like my hair has temporarily returned to a healthier state.

It makes my hair soft and smooth like butter, so I've been using it for two to three bottles.

1. Ugh, the smell... it's really pungent. Some kind of extremely sweet scent. I don't usually complain about strong smells, but this was the most overpowering hair product I've ever tried. It was almost headache-inducing?

2. There wasn't any dramatic transformation! It's just like any other conditioner... apply and rinse, and the softness is gone...

I bought the Kirkland shampoo in bulk at Costco, and since there was also a conditioner next to it, I decided to get that too. After using this, my hair becomes incredibly smooth and shiny. It really seems to fulfill the role of a conditioner effectively. Moreover, when you consider the volume and the price, it's quite a good deal!
