Costco brand products are usually outsourced rather than produced in-house. From what I know, their shampoo and conditioner are made by the same manufacturer as Pureology Hydrate. My bleached hair was severely tangled, but at around $8 in the US, I thought it was worth a try. While the ingredients aren't top-tier, it doesn't trigger my allergies, which is a plus. The best part? My previously bleached hair now feels silky smooth and is incredibly easy to brush. It's almost as if my hair has temporarily returned to its healthy state! The fragrance is quite strong. When I first used it, the scent of this conditioner bothered me all day (I'm generally not a fan of cosmetic fragrances). However, I've gotten used to it now. Be careful not to apply it to your scalp as it may cause itching. It's best to pump out small amounts and apply it gradually from the mid-lengths of your hair downwards, repeating as necessary. - oo*****Combination SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDec 11, 2016
The texture is really nice. It's like butter, making my hair rich and soft instantly. I'm already on my second or third bottle. After using this, I'm losing handfuls of hair. I searched on Hwahae to see if there were issues with the ingredients, and found quite a few problematic ones. While the extent and specifics of how these ingredients negatively affect hair aren't detailed, and I don't blindly trust EWG ratings, based on my experience, I'm going to stop using this to protect my hair. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 3, 2016
1. It's really rich in oils, so it feels a bit heavier compared to other conditioners. It gives the impression that your hair will become even softer... haha. I've heard that people with oily scalps should avoid it, but maybe because I rinse thoroughly, I didn't feel like it left my hair greasy at all. 2. The value for money is great! 1. Oh my. The smell is... really intense. It's an overwhelmingly sweet scent. I don't usually complain about strong fragrances, but this might be the strongest I've experienced in any hair product. It's almost headache-inducing...? 2. There wasn't any dramatic transformation! Like other products, it's just a conditioner... You apply it, rinse it out, and say goodbye to that soft feeling... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 3, 2016
I bought the Kirkland shampoo in bulk at Costco, and since the conditioner was right next to it, I picked that up too. After using this, my hair becomes incredibly smooth and shiny. It really does the job of a conditioner perfectly. Plus, when you consider the volume and price, it's quite a good deal! I can't think of any disappointments while using it. The only thing was that I had a bit of trouble with the pump at first - it wouldn't press down. But that might have just been me not knowing how to use it properly, haha! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 22, 2016
It leaves my hair incredibly smooth and shiny! So sleek that I wonder if I even washed it. The scent is exactly my style. I really dislike those overly creamy rinses, but this one is truly silky smooth and wonderful. While the fragrance is nice, it's a bit strong. I'd recommend those with oily hair to avoid this product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2016
A beast of a bottle at 1 liter capacity. The scent is noticeable but pleasant. Just a small amount leaves your hair incredibly soft and silky. Those with oily scalps should probably avoid this. While it makes your hair super soft with just a little product, it seems to be quite rich in oils. Using this alone makes my hair get greasy much faster than usual. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2015
My hair feels incredibly soft after use. The scent is a bit strong, but not overpowering. It's quite slippery, so you need to rinse thoroughly.
