L'Oréal is known for creating a flagship product and then developing similar items under their sub-brands. That's why people say the ingredient composition is quite similar to Génifique. Using it, I found it fulfills its role as a boosting serum quite well. The skin's surface feels soft and smooth, probably thanks to the dimethicone. There's a slight warming sensation when applying, which seems typical of fermented cosmetics. It didn't lead to any blemishes. It contains pro-retinol, but I didn't feel much irritation (or effect), perhaps because it's milder than retinol. The fragrance is quite strong and cosmetic-like, but I don't mind it. It's probably better than the scent of bifida ferment lysate... haha! It's generous in quantity and affordable for its volume. I especially like its light feel when used before makeup in the morning. Downsides.. 1) Limited availability. While it's listed as discontinued, you can still buy it duty-free. You can only purchase it in-store when traveling abroad. 2) The presence of phenoxyethanol in small amounts is okay, but I noticed it's not at the very end of the ingredient list, it's a bit higher up. This is the biggest drawback. While it's packed with bifida ferment lysate and other highlighted ingredients, it would be nice if they were all in small amounts, but without quantity indicators, it's hard to know for sure... Although I enjoyed using it, these uncertainties make me hesitant about repurchasing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2020
It absorbs quickly and the hydration lasts for a long time. I'm so satisfied that I want to keep using it. The bottle is small, so it runs out quickly. I use two drops on each cheek and one on my forehead. I wish they'd come out with a larger size! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedNov 24, 2019
It's moisturizing and quite decent. The scent is subtle and pleasant. I apply it up to my neck just before bed. In winter, I layer a cream on top. The amount is a bit small. It's odd that I have to write at least 20 characters even if there aren't any real drawbacks. I understand the intention, but I wonder if there's a better way to do this... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 21, 2019
I got it cheap at the duty-free shop, but the only impression it left on me was a tingling sensation. Is it just me? My face turns red and feels tingling after using this product. - dm********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 20, 2019
When I apply this, my skin feels so moisturized and soft. I always make sure to stock up on it at duty-free shops when I travel. The more I use it, the less impressed I am compared to when I first started. I'm wondering if I should stop using it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2019
I received L'Oreal Youth Booster Serum as a sample after purchasing other L'Oreal products. Instead of using it alone, I mixed it with Physiogel before bed. When I woke up, I noticed no tightness in my face, and my skin felt hydrated. I was extremely satisfied with the results. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. From a consumer perspective, I suppose it would be nice if we could purchase good products like this at a lower price. I mix it with a hydrating cream or regenerating cream. The next day, my complexion looks more radiant than the day before. - qk***Combination SkinSensitive SkinApr 15, 2019
You can get it at a great price at duty-free shops. The texture is like thin mucus, but it absorbs quickly and feels refreshing on the skin. The ingredients are quite disappointing... I quietly gave it to my mom. My mother's skin is quite resilient, so she likes it and uses it well, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2019
As someone with dry-to-combination skin, this is an absolute must-have for me! It keeps my skin deeply hydrated while absorbing quickly on the surface, leaving it feeling firm and supple. I've been using it for over 5 years now! If you have extremely dry skin, you might find it a bit too tight or not moisturizing enough... - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2019
It's cheaper when purchased duty-free, and the volume is great for the price. The texture flows with a slight viscosity - not sticky, yet not as runny as a toner. The initial feel is moisturizing, but it finishes with a refreshing sensation. While it didn't cause any blemishes, it's a bit disappointing to see some potentially allergenic ingredients listed among the caution ingredients. - do****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2019
I bought this product because it's popular at duty-free shops. The scent is refreshing, which makes it enjoyable to use. It comes in a dropper bottle, ensuring hygienic application. The consistency is slightly viscous, so it doesn't run like water but spreads smoothly and evenly. I didn't experience any blemishes after use. There's no stickiness at all after application, and the hydration is quite good. I plan to repurchase once I've used it all up. It's disappointing that there are a few ingredients to be cautious about. The product can be a bit difficult to purchase.
