Great value for money with a full-size base and mascara included! It doesn't apply smoothly and tends to clump... While it doesn't smudge like panda eyes, black flakes do fall off. The base ended up unused due to clumping. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 3, 2021
It doesn't smudge and makes your lashes look full and voluminous It tends to clump, and I was a bit disappointed by the number of less-than-ideal ingredients - Hwahae UserDry SkinFeb 19, 2021
The best thing about this mascara is how easily it comes off, which is so convenient. Usually, I worry about my eye wrinkles when using makeup remover for stubborn mascara, but this one washes off effortlessly with just warm water, no remover needed. That's what I love most about it. While it does give good volume, the thick brush seems to pick up too much product. You really need to control the amount carefully when applying. If you're not careful, it can clump easily, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 6, 2020
Wow, I love this! I bought it after searching online and seeing high purchase and rating rates. Now I understand why everyone's using it... Maybe it's because of the mascara base... but it clumps more than I expected. You need to apply it carefully. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 20, 2020
I've tried many products, but in the end, L'Oréal wins. It doesn't smudge easily and comes off well even with lukewarm water. Love it! It's a bit disappointing that it tends to clump when you apply multiple layers. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 26, 2020
Don't buy it... I personally strongly discourage this product It clumps terribly, has poor staying power, and makes your lashes droop. I won't be repurchasing this - Hwahae UserDry SkinAug 22, 2020
Hmm. Applying it twice seems to lengthen my eyelashes. But honestly, I'm not sure what other good points there are. It comes off easily with just water, which for me was actually a drawback. Also, maybe it's my lack of technique, but it applies too thickly and clumps. This was the worst mascara I've ever used. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2020
Even though I don't use it often, it makes my lashes look long and voluminous. It also seems to resist smudging well. I rarely use the white part. It feels more clumpy than smooth when applied, so I just quickly swipe on the black part. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 13, 2020
It seems to have a great effect in making eyebrows look fuller, and the staying power is impressive. Unfortunately, it clumped quite badly. I tried using less product and even tried using an eyelash curler, but the clumping persisted. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 21, 2019
No drooping/Great hold/Long-lasting After curling and applying, lashes stay lifted. Even after 5-6 hours, they only slightly drop but don't completely droop, so it's decent in that aspect. The staying power and hold are also average. No smudging I haven't fully submerged it in water, but I wear contacts and tend to tear up often. Even then, it doesn't smudge much (maybe with 2-3 tears). It does come off easily if rubbed, but if you don't touch your eyes, there's no smudging. Lengthening effect It really lengthens well! The more you apply, the longer your lashes get. The lengthening function is truly excellent. However, there is some clumping (more on this in the 'Cons' section). Includes a primer...? There's a separate white part. Since L'Oreal Paris is a French brand, I can't read what it says (whether it's a primer or what), but anyway, there's a white mascara? on the opposite end of the black mascara. They say applying the white part first and then the black color on top enhances the effect, but I can't really tell the difference... I don't notice much change whether I use it or not. Plus, since I'm not looking for dramatic volume, using both together looks too intense for my taste (I'm someone who doesn't like an overly done look). Easy to remove It comes off quickly just by pulling with your fingers, but to protect my precious lashes, I gently wipe with a damp cloth. It removes very easily. No need for makeup remover (which also means it's at risk of coming off easily if touched during the day...). Clumping It clumps. Usually, eyelashes are thicker at the root compared to the tips, right? So for a natural and pretty look, the mascara should coat the lash tips without clumping. But this one clumps at the ends. While it's great for lengthening, the clumping at the tips makes it look messy. So I'm only using it with an eyelash curler as a setting product (in place of a lash primer). It's disappointing. (When it clumps a lot, I use a spoolie brush to comb through. It loosens everything up overall but doesn't completely eliminate small clumps.) Flaking There's a bit of flaking. Midday, you might notice some powder under your eyes. You can either gently flick it away with your fingernail (don't wipe with your finger, it might smudge) or, better yet, brush it away with the spoolie end of an eyebrow brush. I personally recommend the latter. Curling Without an eyelash curler, lashes simply won't lift... While it does lengthen lashes, they grow straight out rather than upwards, so using this without a curler doesn't make much difference. The curling power is close to zero. Brush/Amount control It has a caterpillar-like brush, but a lot of product comes out on the tip, making it hard to coat each lash individually. You always have to wipe off excess product. Given that it's already prone to clumping, if you fail to control the amount, it becomes a mess. It can also get in your eyes (though this might be due to my lack of skill and my eye shape, which is quite inset). Controlling the amount of product is essential.
