The effect is more abundant, thicker, and longer-looking. It leaves a sticky and tacky feeling. I don't know if it's because I'm not applying it properly, but it looks too unnatural. The eyelashes are clumping and in disarray. The white part is not used at all. For those who do heavy makeup, it might be fine. But since I prefer a clean and natural look, I didn't like it much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 6, 2016
It's been almost 5 years since I started using this product. My eyelashes aren't very dense or long, but using this product has solved both issues. The difference before and after using the mascara is quite remarkable, haha. The base is white, so you need to apply the black part well to make the white part invisible. I apply the base of this product first, then I put the Missha 4D (a volume mascara that costs less than 4,000 won) on top of it. After that, I apply the black mascara part of this product on top and then use an eyelash curler (sold at Olive Young) to curl my lashes. This makes my lashes look just like false lashes! You should use the curler when the heat is not too high, just when it starts to warm up, so the mascara doesn't melt. Temperature control and timing are the key. But the more you use it, the more it stretches, haha. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2016
I bought two sets of this product at the duty-free store and have been using them for about a year now. First of all, the white-based long lash formula is amazing. It's the best. Even if you just apply the mascara part without the base, the long lash effect is incredible! There's also no smudging whatsoever. Cleansing most mascaras is a nightmare, but this one can be easily removed with just lukewarm water. No need to worry about staining or smearing. In summary, this mascara is the perfect combination of no smudging, no flaking, easy cleansing, and incredible length. While there are other long-lasting and non-flaking mascaras out there, this is the only one that combines all these features with the easy lukewarm water cleansing. So you really should buy this, or even buy two! The downside is that it can clump a lot in the beginning. So for the first month or so, it's best to use another brush to apply it, and then it's fine. If you don't apply the mascara carefully after the white base, you can end up with visible white eyebrows. You have to be really precise with the application. Even after curling my lashes 5 times with an eyelash curler, the curl drops as soon as I apply the mascara. But using a lash primer helps with that. The formula also dries out faster compared to other mascaras. But since it lasts 6 months, that's not a big deal. In fact, the clumping becomes less of an issue as it dries out a bit. The clumping and heaviness are the main downsides, but there are ways to work around them. With a lash primer and a separate brush, you can still create doll-like lashes. These minor issues are worth it, considering the smudge-proof, flake-proof, and easy-to-clean formula. Why wouldn't you want to use this? I have a ton of lash droop, so I always use a lash primer with this. With the primer, I can maintain the curl even after an all-nighter. People ask me if I got lash extensions when I use this! When using the white base, apply the mascara with a different, thinner and longer brush. Coating the lashes thoroughly, even the top part, will give you the extension effect without any visible white lashes. The downsides are easily manageable. I'm so impressed by the easy cleansing and smudge-proof wear that I can't wait to finish the rest of this product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 2, 2016
Even though it's a high-quality product, it doesn't spread very well. The application and removal are clean, and the eyelashes become longer. You can buy a pack of 3 at the duty-free store for a great price, so it's perfect to share with your sister or friends. After a while, it turns grayish. If you've used this before, you'd understand - when you apply the white and then the black, the black part ends up flaking off, leaving a grayish residue... It's a dealbreaker. When I was sweating profusely in the scorching heat, the mascara completely smeared off and got into my eyes, which was extremely painful. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 2, 2016
The fact that it wipes off easily seems to be the main advantage of this mascara. The curling just doesn't work at all ㅜㅜ The clumping is also really bad;; So I barely apply the white and just use the mascara, but the drooping and clumping are still the same ㅜㅜ I had high expectations, but this product is so disappointing... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 5, 2016
Since it's washable, it's gentle on the eyes Cleansing is easy It applies smoothly and moisturizes well, and definitely lasts longer. It's a bit clumpy, so the mascara smears a lot This product also smears excessively I bought it because it didn't smear when I tested it, but why does the actual product smear so much? Even when I only use the black part, it applies messily... It's not the same feel as when I tested it ㅠㅠ Or maybe it's because the weather is hotter, sigh... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 23, 2016
My natural eyelashes are quite long, and when I use an eyelash curler and apply the white and black mascaras, they become incredibly long. It was the first time that people around me asked if I was wearing false eyelashes. But it clumps too much, and like other products, if eyelashes get stuck in it, it's a hassle. Regarding the mascara, the white base coat often still shows through, even if you put a lot of effort into applying the black top coat. So when I'm in a hurry, I just use the black, but after a few weeks, the white base had hardened completely and I had to melt it in hot water. I only used one tube and then stopped. To be honest, I don't use the white mascara much anymore. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2016
I bought Solyi because one side is white and the other side is black - it's so fascinating! The white side dried up, so now I'm applying the black side, but no matter how many times I reapply, when I use both together, it gets too clumped. In the end, I stopped using the white and just used the black, but now there are always black traces around my eyes, so I just keep it on my vanity as a decorative piece. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 23, 2016
It's best to remove it with lukewarm water It can also be removed with an eye makeup remover, but it's just a hassle Lukewarm water works well, with minimal powder dispersal After a while, it tends to smear for me ㅠㅠ (I have eyes that are prone to smearing) And I feel a stinging sensation (I have sensitive eyes) The curling effect doesn't last long and it droops I just feel better not using the white one It doesn't feel like it lasts as long as expected It just feels like the white and the overlaid liquid are doing their own thing ㅜㅜ Recommended for normal eyes that don't smear easily! My friends around me all love it as their holy grail ~ But it's not for me ㅠㅠ - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 21, 2016
The mascara applies thickly and volumizingly. I like how it applies slightly clumpy, which means it's a great product. The mascara brush is voluminous, so it feels nice to apply. It washes off easily with just warm water, so cleansing is very convenient. I really like how well it removes. When used with the white serum, my lashes become incredibly long. Since it washes off easily with warm water, it shouldn't be used on rainy days or when swimming. At a rock festival, I was embarrassed when the mascara fibers moved all over my face after getting rained on. It doesn't smear, but the fibers fall off in large chunks, so it's relatively clean. I didn't use much of the white serum. It's inconvenient. And it's heavy. In the beginning, it was a bit difficult to open my eyes after application. It also stings a little.
