If I really had to pick some positives, I'd say it's easy to find and affordable. Is this a mascara base or paint? If you need a white mascara, this might do the trick. But applying mascara over this? Absolutely not. You'll end up having to remove all your carefully applied makeup.

This is the product I always use before applying mascara. Now that I've run out, it feels like I haven't been wearing mascara lately. My lashes are naturally long, but when I use this followed by Etude's Lash Perm Waterproof Shock Cara, the effect is truly dramatic! The downside is that the white liquid doesn't apply evenly and sometimes clumps up. Also, it doesn't always provide good coverage for black mascara.

Etude's eye makeup products seem to offer great value for money. Applying it before mascara definitely makes lashes appear longer. You need to let it dry completely before applying mascara. Also, if you apply too much, some white residue might remain or clump even after putting on mascara.

However, I wouldn't recommend it as a base. Why? It's. So. White. Even if you try to cover it with black mascara, it doesn't work. It's just extremely, very white. As someone with sensitive eyes, this really stung. Even after removing it, my eyes were tearing up. But I guess it's okay since I won't be using it often. This is a base to apply before mascara. It can make your lashes appear thicker than they naturally are. When you apply mascara over this, your lashes become even more voluminous. When you apply mascara over this, it tends to clump and get messy. It makes your lashes feel heavy and droopy.
