  Pros

  I highly recommend this as a must-have for days when you want to put extra effort into your makeup! For long lashes: Apply mascara, then top coat, then mascara again, followed by another top coat. Usually doing this twice, or up to three times, will make your lashes incredibly long. Staying power & smudge-resistance: I have oily skin, so my mascara tends to smudge quickly. I usually only used Clio mascara. This is the first time I've tried this product, and it exceeded my expectations by lasting long without smudging. I think this is the most important aspect of a mascara.

  Cons

  Flaking: No matter how good a mascara is, if you apply multiple layers and it gets thick, some flaking is inevitable. Drooping: The longer the lashes, the heavier they naturally become. You have to accept this to some extent, unfortunately. Thorough cleansing required: You need to use an oil cleanser to remove it completely.

  Tip

  As I mentioned at the beginning, I recommend this for days when you need to put extra effort into your makeup! For daily use, I'd suggest a lighter mascara instead. This product is great for when you really need to make your eyes stand out.

  Pros

  This is my holy grail mascara that I'm using for the third time now. It consists of a top coat and mascara, and I highly recommend it to those who love spider-leg-like lashes (it looks especially beautiful when applied to the lower lashes). First of all, I love how it lengthens more and more as you apply it, making your eyes look more defined. When you apply the top coat, it also increases the staying power!

  Cons

  Even with the top coat, it tends to smudge and come off in the sweat and oil of hot summer days. That's why I usually wear it indoors or during winter. The waterproof claim might not hold up well in situations like facing waves or getting splashed a lot at a water park.

  Tip

  You can improve its longevity by using a primer or no-sebum powder, pressing it firmly around the eye area. This way, you can cover up what might be considered a drawback.

  Pros

  It curls lashes beautifully and has great staying power. Most importantly, it doesn't clump at all! I love that it comes with a lash primer to set the curl. It's fantastic!

  Cons

  The only downside is that there's a bit of excess powder fallout.

  Pros

  I received this as a gift, and despite my mascara usually smudging easily, this one didn't flake at all and stayed put all day long! I think it's because of the top coat - it definitely makes a difference! I'm really impressed with its long-lasting power.

  Cons

  First off, when you apply the top coat, it tends to clump a bit. Also, it's a bit challenging to remove, which is slightly disappointing. Even after double cleansing, there are times when some residue remains. I suppose that's the trade-off for its excellent staying power?

  Tip

  Make sure to curl your lashes! And use the top coat together with the mascara. On days when you're not wearing heavy makeup, you can even use just the top coat alone after curling your lashes - it works wonders!

  Pros

  The staying power is excellent when you apply mascara and top coat. There's no clumping or stickiness. The product volume is also quite generous.

  Cons

  If you have oily skin, powder residue tends to settle around the eyes. As for the mascara, the brush is quite thick and heavy, which makes curling a bit disappointing, so I don't use it often.

  Tip

  If you repeat the process of applying mascara and top coat, you can achieve endless lash extensions that look like doll-like lashes. The top coat seems versatile enough to use with other mascaras as well.
