I highly recommend this as a must-have for days when you want to put extra effort into your makeup! For long lashes: Apply mascara, then top coat, then mascara again, followed by another top coat. Usually doing this twice, or up to three times, will make your lashes incredibly long. Staying power & smudge-resistance: I have oily skin, so my mascara tends to smudge quickly. I usually only used Clio mascara. This is the first time I've tried this product, and it exceeded my expectations by lasting long without smudging. I think this is the most important aspect of a mascara. Flaking: No matter how good a mascara is, if you apply multiple layers and it gets thick, some flaking is inevitable. Drooping: The longer the lashes, the heavier they naturally become. You have to accept this to some extent, unfortunately. Thorough cleansing required: You need to use an oil cleanser to remove it completely. As I mentioned at the beginning, I recommend this for days when you need to put extra effort into your makeup! For daily use, I'd suggest a lighter mascara instead. This product is great for when you really need to make your eyes stand out. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2019
No matter how many highly-rated mascaras I tried, they all smudged, leaving my under-eyes looking dull. But since using this product, those worries are gone! It stays put without smudging until I wash my face, even when I tear up. I wish I had discovered this sooner. It's a shame I only found it now. Finishing with an eyelash curler keeps your lashes lifted and the effect lasts longer. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 11, 2019
I've tried many waterproof mascaras, but by afternoon, they'd always smudge under my eyes. That's why I bought this even more powerful waterproof mascara from Escada, and it's become my holy grail! The brush is wide, so with just a couple of swipes and a final top coat, you get smudge-free lashes all day long. As someone with sparse lashes who wants a full, long look, this Escada mascara is perfect! I experienced no blemishes at all. It also comes off easily with makeup remover. There wasn't a single thing I disliked about using this mascara! For even fuller lashes, try alternating between the mascara and top coat when applying. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2019
✨ Absolutely no smudging! While Kiss Me mascara is known for not smudging, this one takes it to another level. I watched a tearjerker and it didn't budge at all. I even apply mascara to my lower lashes, and this mascara's smudge-proof quality is truly unbeatable. ✨ Easy removal What I love most is that despite being smudge-proof, it's incredibly easy to remove. It comes off fairly well with just warm water, and it's a breeze to remove completely with eye makeup remover. So convenient! ✨ Smooth application It applies beautifully without clumping and gives amazing curl. Even with multiple coats, there's no clumping. The more you apply, the longer your lashes get - it's fantastic! ✨ Slight drooping After extended wear, there's a bit of drooping. It's not severe, but compared to the initial curl, you'll notice some drop. However, if you use an eyelash curler thoroughly and pair it with the fixer on the other side, the staying power improves significantly, so it wasn't a major issue for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedOct 20, 2018
My lashes are naturally sparse and short, and my eyes tend to smudge easily, so I'm usually cautious with mascaras. However, this one definitely gives my lashes noticeable volume and definition. Plus, it's waterproof, so it doesn't smudge at all! The brush is quite large, which might be tricky for those with smaller eyes like mine. It's easy to accidentally get product on your eyelids while applying. I understand the thick brush helps create volume, but I wish it was a bit shorter. The length of the wand also makes it slightly intimidating to use freely. For best results, apply the base/top coat part first, let it dry for 20 seconds, then apply the black mascara. Repeat this process twice for incredibly voluminous lashes. Since the brush is large, use a clean spoolie or lash comb for your lower lashes and the corners of your eyes for more precise application. - bl*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2018
This is the ultimate choice for those whose eye makeup tends to smudge and fade easily! I've tried high-end mascaras before, but they smudged terribly. I stumbled upon this one on a home shopping channel, loved it so much that I bought 2-3 as gifts, and now I'm on my third purchase! Some say applying multiple coats with a top coat makes lashes super long, but that makes them droop too much for me, so I just apply one coat. The affordable price and generous quantity make it even better! Even after using a hair dryer to curl my lashes upwards, they still tend to droop, probably because the formula is a bit heavy. Nevertheless, when I want to wear mascara, I always reach for this one. For lashes like mine, a non-smudging formula is absolutely essential! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2018
This is my holy grail mascara that I'm using for the third time now. It consists of a top coat and mascara, and I highly recommend it to those who love spider-leg-like lashes (it looks especially beautiful when applied to the lower lashes). First of all, I love how it lengthens more and more as you apply it, making your eyes look more defined. When you apply the top coat, it also increases the staying power! Even with the top coat, it tends to smudge and come off in the sweat and oil of hot summer days. That's why I usually wear it indoors or during winter. The waterproof claim might not hold up well in situations like facing waves or getting splashed a lot at a water park. You can improve its longevity by using a primer or no-sebum powder, pressing it firmly around the eye area. This way, you can cover up what might be considered a drawback. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2018
It curls lashes beautifully and has great staying power. Most importantly, it doesn't clump at all! I love that it comes with a lash primer to set the curl. It's fantastic! The only downside is that there's a bit of excess powder fallout. - so********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsJan 16, 2018
It absorbs into the skin just okay. It's not like you apply it and go 'Wow! This is amazing!' but more like 'Yeah, this is nice.' You know what I mean? I think it's good that it comes with a top coat. I curled my lashes and applied it, but it all came down... I couldn't curl after applying because I was afraid it would ruin the mascara. Honestly, this product is just 'mascara' as its name suggests, nothing more. - si******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDec 20, 2017
None. I genuinely can't think of anything positive to say, even to reach 20 characters. I received this as a gift, so I feel bad about throwing it away, but I think I have to. After carefully curling my lashes with an eyelash curler, I applied this mascara only to watch all that work disappear as my lashes went completely straight again. I thought I might have applied it wrong, so I tried again the next day, but the same thing happened. It's infuriating. To make matters worse, it doesn't even dry properly and smudges all over my eyelids. I'm baffled as to why they released this product under the name 'mascara' when it fails to perform any of the basic functions of one.
