  Pros

  I've tried many waterproof mascaras, but by afternoon, they'd always smudge under my eyes. That's why I bought this even more powerful waterproof mascara from Escada, and it's become my holy grail! The brush is wide, so with just a couple of swipes and a final top coat, you get smudge-free lashes all day long. As someone with sparse lashes who wants a full, long look, this Escada mascara is perfect! I experienced no blemishes at all. It also comes off easily with makeup remover.

  Cons

  There wasn't a single thing I disliked about using this mascara!

  Tip

  For even fuller lashes, try alternating between the mascara and top coat when applying.

  Pros

  This is my holy grail mascara that I'm using for the third time now. It consists of a top coat and mascara, and I highly recommend it to those who love spider-leg-like lashes (it looks especially beautiful when applied to the lower lashes). First of all, I love how it lengthens more and more as you apply it, making your eyes look more defined. When you apply the top coat, it also increases the staying power!

  Cons

  Even with the top coat, it tends to smudge and come off in the sweat and oil of hot summer days. That's why I usually wear it indoors or during winter. The waterproof claim might not hold up well in situations like facing waves or getting splashed a lot at a water park.

  Tip

  You can improve its longevity by using a primer or no-sebum powder, pressing it firmly around the eye area. This way, you can cover up what might be considered a drawback.

  Pros

  After applying the top coat and base, my lashes become fuller and thicker, giving them a more voluminous appearance. The lashes also look elongated.

  Cons

  When I apply this, it makes my carefully curled lashes droop. Also, the extended tips of the lashes look blunt and bent.

  Tip

  Even after curling, the lashes droop when applied. Using an eyelash curler after applying the mascara helps somewhat. The bent parts of the extended lashes look unappealing, but they can be gently removed. It's possible to apply multiple coats, which makes the lashes look fuller and more moisturized, which is nice.

  Pros

  It glides on smoothly and really enhances my eye definition, which I love. When I use an eyelash curler, the curl lasts quite a while.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it doesn't have much natural curling power for me. It worked well for my mom though. There's a bit of excess powder and clumping.
