A slightly reddish-brown shade with a subtle shimmer. It's a versatile color that's easy to use for everyday looks. There are so many similar shades available that I don't use it often. I only apply it thinly to cover eyeliner, so the product doesn't seem to decrease much. MAC eyeshadows are convenient to use when placed in a palette. - gy*******Dry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2022
It's great for contouring and creating depth. A solid, reliable product. No complaints at all! As someone with monolids, I'm thrilled it doesn't smudge. Very satisfied. - sm**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedFeb 27, 2022
Color and application: A deep brown eyeshadow with a pearlescent finish. No excess powder fallout and can be layered for adjustable intensity. Ingredients: Contains talc MAC, famous for their eyeshadows, doesn't have the best ingredient list. Photos: 1. Right side of the case 2. Second from the left 3. ✔Skin tone: 21-22, Light Spring ✔Preferred makeup style: Instagram-worthy makeup with distinct color payoff and medium intensity (quite intense for a Light) ✔Pigmentation: Absolutely excellent. One swipe delivers vivid color. This really sets it apart from drugstore eyeshadows. ✔Subtle shimmer: I'm not a fan of overly sparkly shimmer shadows that reflect light too intensely, especially with darker colors. Sometimes the shimmer overpowers the actual color, and when I'm trying to create dimension, the reflective quality can make eyes look puffy or aged. This shadow has a more subdued shimmer that I can work with. The light reflection is minimal, so it doesn't create an overly flashy effect in the inner corner. ✔Color and intensity: It's just shy of being dark enough to use as eyeliner. I'd say it's between medium and deep, leaning more towards deep. While it's described as a reddish brown, the red undertone isn't overwhelming. Even those who typically don't suit red eyeshadows might find this wearable. Hmm... nothing really stands out as a negative. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it might make deep undertone Light complexions look slightly more mature? The reddish tone is quite subtle, and with its slightly shimmery finish and deep color, using too much can unintentionally create a rich, sultry eye look that's more suited for autumn. If you prefer a lighter makeup style, I'd recommend using just a tiny amount. - ha*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 3, 2021
The staying power is excellent. The fine particles prevent any excess powder from flying around. It's perfect for softening eyeliner or adding a pop of color when using multiple warm-toned eyeshadows. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I'm thrilled to have finally found a quality eyeshadow after so long. It pairs beautifully with MAC All That Glitters eyeshadow for a stunning accent. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJan 28, 2021
The subtle shimmer is not overwhelming, making it versatile for daily use in various ways There's some excess powder fallout, and the color is reminiscent of what you might find in more budget-friendly cosmetic brands - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2021
I love it! I'm a fan of soba, so I bought the mulch too. As expected, it's great! Mac is Mac, after all! There's nothing to be disappointed about. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2020
MAC eyeshadows are incredibly popular for a reason. They're perfect as a base shadow. With minimal excess and just the right amount of pigmentation, this product is definitely one I recommend! There's not much to complain about, except perhaps that MAC eyeshadow packaging takes up quite a bit of space. Also, it seems four of the ingredients are potentially concerning. The combination of Honey Lust, Woodwinked, Mulch, and Tempting shown in the photo is truly the ultimate for creating a dimensional eye look. I highly recommend this combination. - on******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2020
I bought this when it was selling out like crazy, intending to use it for soba and contouring. It's a multi-use product! The shade is a slightly reddish brown, and it's really pretty. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it... I just used it well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2018
I usually avoid shimmery eyeshadows, but this one adds dimension to the eyes rather than just sparkle. It's perfect for creating subtle depth when applied lightly. I was amazed that it stayed put all day without smudging, even on my hooded eyelids that tend to fold inward! The price might be a drawback, but the quantity is generous - with proper care, it could last for years. If you're going to splurge anyway, I'd recommend visiting a MAC store. The staff there apply it skillfully and practically do a full makeup look for you!
