While it's not the cheapest option out there, when you consider the ingredients and price compared to department store cosmetics, it's truly an exceptional value. Even my sister, who's been plagued with cystic acne despite trying countless hyped-up products, saw significant improvement in her skin after using this. It's surprising more people don't know about it. The texture is a winner too - it's hydrating yet non-sticky upon application, and doesn't have that silicone-y feel, which is a huge plus. Given its high quality, the price isn't really an issue, but the glass packaging makes it quite heavy, which is admittedly a bit inconvenient. I don't have extremely dry skin, so I found it suitable even in winter. For those with drier skin, it works well mixed with facial oil during colder months. As someone with sensitive, dehydrated, and blemish-prone skin who uses Aromatica sunscreen, I found this product great for mixing and applying together. Perhaps due to the questionable ingredients, using this product caused my blemishes to flare up, resulting in an expensive dermatologist visit. Not impressed.

I've tried many products claiming to be good for hydration, but after using this 3-piece set, my deep dryness disappeared. It would have been so much better without the dimethicone and PEG ingredients. Sometimes when you apply it, there's a cooling sensation like peppermint. Try using the Marine Source 3-piece set. It absorbs really well. I love how it feels like water when you apply it! Once it's fully absorbed, it doesn't leave my skin feeling very hydrated. Also, I'm not sure if this texture just doesn't suit me, but it tends to pill on my skin. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinJun 27, 2015
I usually only used the essence, but when I bought the set, I tried the cream too. It's definitely not heavy, and even though it's light, it's incredibly hydrating. My skin was feeling dry during pregnancy, but after applying this, it feels so much better! I felt a sudden burning sensation at first, but it didn't last long. Initially, I thought it might not suit me, but I've been using it for less than a week, so I need to give it more time. The ingredients are great. I have skin that's prone to blemishes, so I'm always cautious when buying cosmetics and scrutinize the ingredients. This one is really good. When I apply this and then put on liquid foundation, it doesn't pill and works well. I can't really think of any downsides. It's hard to come up with something negative. I use this along with the milk toner and essence from the same marine line, and it keeps my skin nicely hydrated. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd choose the Marine Source Cream. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling. I love how it provides long-lasting hydration and moisture. There's nothing bad to say. I was worried about dryness when using just one layer, but it held up well even in winter.
