As someone who's struggled with seborrheic dermatitis due to a dry scalp, I'm thrilled to find that this product seems to provide the much-needed hydration to help balance things out. The only slight drawback is that its cleansing effectiveness could be a bit stronger, but other than that, I have no complaints. - ka*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 23, 2021
It's great for my sensitive scalp with dead skin cells, and I love that it's not irritating The disappointing thing is that it's now discontinued... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2021
My skin is combination type, and while my scalp tends to be oily, I get flaky in winter. Boo! On my stylist's recommendation, I bought this at the salon and used it along with a scalp mask. It's really nice! The amount is a bit small. Since I have long hair, I'll go for the larger size next time. When used after coloring, it seems to help the color last longer! - 03***Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2020
When I was experiencing significant hair loss and occasional scalp itching, my hairstylist recommended this product during a root touch-up appointment! I was skeptical at first, having tried various shampoos from the Hwahae rankings, but after consistent use, I definitely noticed less itching and reduced hair fall. Now that I've used it all up, I need to reorder, but I'm trying to finish my other shampoos first. Highly recommended! Despite being labeled as 'Aqua Calming' and meant for dry skin, it left my face feeling tight after rinsing. Those looking for strong cleansing effectiveness might appreciate it, though. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2019
My scalp tends to be dry, and depending on the product I use, I sometimes experience dandruff and itching. I even get an odor from my crown area. This shampoo, however, eliminates itching and keeps odor at bay all day long. It also lathers well with just a small amount. The quantity is a bit small for the price, and it's inconvenient that it doesn't come in a pump dispenser. - oh*******Dry SkinRecommendedMar 3, 2019
I had a seriously dry scalp with seborrheic dermatitis... it was so bad that even hairstylists were shocked! I've tried all the highly-recommended shampoos like Aveda, John Masters, Klorane, Rausch, Aromatica, and more. They worked temporarily, but then the blemishes and dead skin cells would come back worse than ever. I finally got a scalp treatment at a salon, which helped a lot. I asked about their shampoo, bought it, and now I'm almost through my first bottle. My scalp has improved significantly, and there's much less flaking! So I've just purchased another bottle along with their serum. I'm worried about hair loss, so I'm trying to take care of my scalp diligently before it's too late. Although it's pricey, the visible results make me want to keep using it! I initially bought both the hydrating/soothing and the exfoliating/anti-dandruff versions. The exfoliating one had strong cleansing effectiveness, but it made my scalp itchy and dry, so I stopped using it. The hydrating line is perfect for me, and I plan to stick with it! The high price is the biggest drawback. If I get the chance to shop at duty-free, I might stock up on a couple of large bottles. Also, my hair feels a bit stiff after washing. I don't have any special tips, but it lathers up more than you'd expect. I only use about a coin-sized amount, and it creates a ton of foam. It works best if you wet your hair slightly, massage it in, wait 3-5 minutes, and then rinse. - re*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinJul 12, 2018
True to Amorepacific's reputation, this product has a lovely fragrance. It gently cleanses without irritation and helps detangle hair. I mainly use it when I have blemishes on my scalp. Perhaps because I have an oily scalp, it doesn't leave me feeling refreshed. It seems to make my scalp greasy again quickly, so it's not really suitable for me. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2018
Great for sensitive and dry scalps! The Aqua Calming Serum from the same line is so gentle you could even use it on your face. It's perfect for those with super sensitive scalps. The shampoo bottle design makes it a bit tricky to control the amount, so you'll need to be careful when dispensing! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 21, 2017
I liked that it seemed to reduce hair loss. For a treatment product, it seems to take a bit longer to rinse out. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinAug 3, 2017
A few years ago, I developed something like pimples on my scalp. When I went to the doctor, they said it was folliculitis. Since then, I've tried many scalp-related shampoos, but nothing has been as effective as Aiyunche Calming. My wife occasionally gets blemishes on her scalp, so we both tried Aiyunche Calming. However, she has dry skin and felt it made her scalp even drier, so she stopped using it. It seems this product might not be suitable for those with dry scalps.
