I'm not extremely dry, just a fairly normal skin with no major issues. I'm slightly on the drier side. I bought this when it was on sale at Olive Young, so the price was reasonable. I was drawn to the color and kept it in my mental shopping cart, and started using it recently as we moved into fall. The scent is sweet and nice, but there's also a slight harsh? feeling to it. It seems to provide adequate scrubbing at a reasonable price. It seems like a decent entry-level body scrub.
Cons
The moisturizing power is less than expected. It would be good to apply a body lotion after using it. While it leaves a smooth feeling when just left alone, there's no soft, supple sensation. The price is quite different, but the Kama salt scrub I was also looking at left a moisturized, soft feeling after use, which this lacks. But if the moisturizing power is boosted separately, it seems decent value-wise.
Tip
Many say the sugar granules are irritating and painful, but if your skin isn't overly sensitive or weak, just thoroughly wet your whole body with warm water first, then apply the scrub to the remaining dampness and massage it in - the granules will melt enough to roll nicely. And since it's for use in the shower, scooping it out with a spoon will allow for more hygienic application.

My legs are always swollen due to plantar fasciitis, but massaging with a scrub makes me feel like my blood circulation is improving. The sweet scent also makes me feel good when I wash.
