Tree Hut products seem great for those new to body scrubs. They're more accessible and affordable compared to other scrub products. I've tried three brands - Tree Hut, Sabon, and Gioma - but Tree Hut was the only one that didn't require mixing with oil, which made it more convenient. Mixing with oil can be a hassle, and sometimes you run out of oil. This makes Tree Hut ideal for beginners.

The scent was disappointing. It smelled somewhat artificial and gave me a slight headache. The fragrance only lasted about an hour, which is extremely short. Next time, I'd like to try a different scent.

It's not too harsh, so you feel like it's gently removing dead skin cells without irritation.

After use, there's a residue left on the skin, so I follow up with body wash. The exfoliating particles are a bit large, so those with super sensitive skin might want to avoid this. The jar packaging makes it difficult to maintain hygiene.

This seems like a great product for everyday use. The scent is refreshingly sweet, which lifts my mood after using it. While I didn't feel it was exceptionally effective at removing dead skin cells, it does seem to have some effect. I've been using it about once every two weeks.

Don't use the scrub on dry skin or immediately rub it on wet skin! Since it's a sugar-based formula, let the sugar dissolve a bit. Apply plenty of water to your body, then slather on the scrub. While waiting for it to dissolve, you can brush your teeth or wash your face. Once it's partially dissolved, massage it in circular motions as if you're emulsifying cleansing oil when removing makeup. If needed, wet your hands slightly (if it's well-dissolved, you might not need extra water, but if the particles haven't fully melted, adding more water helps). This method significantly reduces irritation while still effectively exfoliating! After rinsing, your skin will feel as moisturized as if you've applied oil. It's amazing!

The coarse particles might be irritating for sensitive or delicate skin. However, this can be easily managed by adjusting your scrubbing method, so I don't consider it a major drawback.

The biggest inconvenience is the packaging!
It comes in a large tub with a generous amount of product, but since it's a scrub that shouldn't get wet, you need to transfer small amounts to a separate container each time you use it. Just thinking about it feels a bit bothersome... But I suppose the thick consistency requires this type of packaging? It would be so much better if it came in a tube with a wide opening!

A scrub that leaves your skin feeling as moisturized as if you'd applied oil!

I've always focused on my face, neglecting my body care. As someone with dry skin all over, I tend to have chicken skin and scaly patches, especially on my arms and legs where I shave. It's particularly bad in winter! I finally realized I couldn't keep ignoring my body care anymore (when was the last time my skin felt soft? Sigh). Then this savior came to rescue my body - not Tama... but Tree Hut!

#Fragrance
There's quite a variety of scents available. I tested the fragrance and texture at Olive Young before buying. When it's on sale, you can get a large amount for around 13,000 won! The wide range of scents is a plus, allowing you to choose based on your preference. The fragrance also lingers on your body for quite a while after scrubbing. When you lie down to sleep after using it, you can still smell the subtle scent of the scrub rather than body wash. This could be seen as both an advantage and a disadvantage.

#Scrub Particles
The particles are large and coarse. Sensitive skin might find it a bit harsh, but you can easily adjust your application method to reduce irritation while maximizing effectiveness! (I'll share some tips later). The coarse particles actually make the scrubbing process quicker and more effective. You can definitely see a difference in skin texture the day after using it - my chicken skin was noticeably reduced!

#Moisturizing Finish
The scrub itself contains shea sugar - a mix of sugar and shea butter. After rinsing, it leaves your skin feeling as if you've applied oil and then rinsed it off. It's similar to the feeling after using Nivea's in-shower body emulsion (though slightly less silky). It leaves your skin feeling moisturized and smooth. While it's not as hydrating as a dedicated moisturizer, considering most scrubs tend to dry out the skin, I highly recommend this for its moisturizing properties!

Although it leaves a moisturized, oil-like finish, it's still a scrub, so it's not enough hydration on its own! While it might be sufficient in summer, for other seasons - especially for those with dry skin like me who need to maintain some level of moisture on their body - you'll need to follow up with a body emulsion or cream. I use this product along with a body emulsion and oil.

At first, it feels a bit rough on the skin.
However, the lovely fragrance makes up for it.

The fragrance of this product is absolutely delightful!
