Despite the small particle size, it was incredibly effective at removing dead skin cells.
ConsThe scent was disappointing. It smelled somewhat artificial and gave me a slight headache. The fragrance only lasted about an hour, which is extremely short. Next time, I'd like to try a different scent.

It leaves your skin feeling as moisturized as if you've applied oil and rinsed it off! It's fantastic that this scrub not only exfoliates but also provides intense hydration. Gentle Exfoliation: - The sugar-based formula is non-irritating, and when used with water, it offers a gentle scrubbing experience. Value for Money: - When on sale, it's available for just over $10, and the generous amount lasts for ages! Truly great value for your money.
ConsFragrance Faux Pas: - While the newly purchased rose scent is tolerable, the acai berry version I've been using has an overpowering artificial berry scent that lingers on the skin post-use. You can mask the scent by using body wash afterward, but then you miss out on the softening effects of the oils. Packaging Predicament: - Given its texture, it's understandably challenging to package in a tube or pump bottle. However, the current packaging is still inconvenient. It would be great if they could make the formula slightly more fluid to work with a pump dispenser!
TipPro tip: To prevent the sugar from dissolving due to bathroom humidity, transfer small portions into a little jar as shown in the photo. This ensures hygienic use! I use this scrub daily, applying it gently on wet skin. Once a week, I use it on dry skin for a more intense exfoliation. For the full scrubbing effect, use on dry skin; for a gentler experience, apply to damp skin.

I'm actually kind of regretting this purchase.
ConsThe fragrance is overly artificial and sickly sweet. Among all the Gly**** and Pl** products I've tried so far, this one was just mediocre. It's disappointing to the point where I feel like I wasted my money.

I've heard so much about Tree Hut, so I decided to give it a go. The texture is basically sugar granules - pretty straightforward! While many scrubs these days are on the gentler side, this one's a classic, no-frills body scrub. The scent is like bubblegum, almost reminiscent of junk food! Despite my super sensitive skin, I find using this coarse scrub occasionally gives me that deep clean feeling I crave. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated afterwards, which I appreciate. Plus, you get a generous amount, so you can really go to town with it! I'm happy to report no blemishes or redness, which is always a win in my book!
ConsThe packaging isn't the most hygienic, but given the texture, I don't think a tube would work. This jar seems to be the best option. The scent is a bit off-putting, reminiscent of artificial snacks, which is a shame. Also, the ingredients list could use some improvement. These days, there are so many products with better formulations out there.
TipIf you find the granules too harsh, try this tip: Thoroughly wet your body, apply the scrub all over, and wait a bit. The granules will start to dissolve, making for a gentler exfoliation when you start scrubbing!

The oil content allows for smooth application.
ConsThis product contains plastic microbeads, which have been controversial lately. They can potentially cause skin damage and irritation, so I'd recommend avoiding this product. It would be great if we could boycott it for environmental reasons too. Moreover, the artificial fragrance is quite harsh. As soon as I used it, I broke out in red blemishes and felt itchy. The blue beads don't dissolve at all. Even when I tried to crush them, they wouldn't break down. (All colored beads in Tree Hut products are plastic microbeads)
